If there really were 21 million deaths, that would explain why people in the know were soiling themselves.
However, if there were only thousands of deaths here, why were there millions in China?

The phone users could be dead OR Unemployed. So you can’t use this as an accurate number.
21 million fewer phone subscribers out of 1.7 billion subscriptions. Only 1.4 billion people in China, and many too young to have own phones. Many second phones are work-related. No job, no need for second phone. 21 million to too high as an upper limit. 1-3 million infected as of 20 March, and 140,000 - 450,00 dead as of 20 March are reasonable estimates, based on available information (not including mil nets).
At today’s presser they had a mortality rate chart listing various countries’ deaths per 100,000 population. Belgium/42, USA/10, China/.33. Trump is really beginning to make a point of calling the most extreme BS on any information coming out of China.
Higher population density, WAY more people dependent on mass transit, no suburbia with built in social distancing.

But who doesn’t think we had satellites looking down at the crematorium in Wuhan counting the vans showing up. Or agents on the ground all over the country.
