US and China WAR May be Inevitable, As Economy Collapses And Democrats And GOP Fight, War Approaches. The Thucydides Trap says that whenever a rising power moves to displace the existing superpower war is inevitable.
5 years ago The Atlantic wrote that not only was war with the US and China likely it was way more likely than anyone realized. They wrote that something could happen that will cause a cascade affect resulting in total war.
And now many people are bullish on war.
A series of military confrontations, China's attempts to cause us harm during the crisis, the collapse of crude oil prices, and the economic collapse have put the world in the most dangerous position it has been in yet.
Nuclear weapons stand at the ready and no one is willing to back down. As more people in the US, not just Trump but now Democrats and joe Biden, move to blame China it seems that it is only a matter of time when full scare war breaks out.
Or maybe it won't, maybe this is just hype and media sensationalism, maybe the real war will be an information war.
That said, I have been watching this guy's videos for months now, and I find him to be honest and objective - even to the point of attacking Democrats for their horrific and stupid positions.
He is really more of an independent (as am I), and I find value in his videos. I hope, Jim, that you will NOT remove this video without at least watching it.
I think this video makes some important points that need to be heard on Free Republic.
Covid may have been a first shot.
I hope he’s wrong, and we keep it down to battle by proxy.
These things can escalate quickly, as Will Ferrell’s Ron Burgundy commented.
And a war would make the virus issues look like a picnic in the park for both parties.
Economic Self-interests will hopefully prevent a massive,
multi-front confrontation, but I do fear some conflict is
inevitable.
Well, if Joe Biden is switching sides...
If we need to fire-up a war economy you won’t have people hiding in their basements and walking around in masks.
This guy’s a nut.
We are already fighting a vicious war with China. It just doesn’t involve the weaponry used in previous conflicts.
A war with China will not be conventional. China is no match for the US in military power, not even close. China’s weapons of choice will be weapons of mass destruction. such as COVID-19; and cyber warfare which the have also tested on us.
Yeah usually there’s great reasons for a war :)
Thew world is a powder keg and only those hiding from the virus can’t see that.
I’m hoping for a skirmish at sea where they get crushed, deny it and realize how inferior their military is.
But between this virus and the blame rightly going to them but them giving it back and the collapse of oil and economies...that’s almost the textbook definition of why wars start most of the time.
And if the Chinese people get ugly no better way to distract them than a shiny new war.
