Leftists want you and I dead and they do not care if it happens by starvation.

Ah, so keyboard warriors — who today probably work from home and only get dressed two days a week— are now telling people who do work work to skip breakfast.

At this point, with the CCP now supplying arms to Russia i’m having little doubt about ww3.

It is coming.

There is not a thing that can be done about it.

Quite frankly nonsense.

There are any number of books written before the 19th century that mention having something to eat to start the day.

If you are talking about eating only certain foods then that is correct but eating something in the morning, if you have it, have been a thing since we started cooking.

And that was a very long time ago.

Breakfast was foisted on the populace during the 20th century as a sales gimmick to make money for food producers.

No.

At least “A Modest Proposal” was satire.

Quite frankly nonsense.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
No argument from me, I was simply commenting on an article I recently read that included that contention.

History is a more accurate source than whatever you read.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
So true. I took note of that contention because for probably 20 some years I rarely ate breakfast and seldom felt hungry until noon or even later.

I think I read the same one.

There was another a few years ago that said that eating lunch was racist. It said that the White people did not understand that the Brown people could not eat lunch because they had no food.

Apparently White people are able to eat when there is no food available. I found that truly astonishing.

In the past few years I have learned from reading scientific papers that White skin is bullet proof, their blood has multiple ways to the brain that other people do not, they are more resistant to pollution of all kind and now that they magically eat food when there is none around.

I can't wait to find out their new super powers.

Starbucks has the worst coffee in the world, I agree with you.

And these days, breakfast is getting pretty expensive, what with the price of eggs.

It's a good idea to skip breakfast, just not for the reasons cited. The idea of a big breakfast was foisted on us by the processed food industry who wanted to sell sugary cereal and it's a big part of why Americans are so fat. People in countries with slimmer populations usually eat very little for breakfast, or nothing at all.

The idea that it's the most important meal of the day is BS pushed by big ag, the typical American breakfast isn't healthy.

A cup of yogurt with some granola, some coffee or tea and a piece of fruit will suffice at a very reasonable cost.

the value of breakfast has ling been established. The typical american breakfast releases calories throughout the morning and into the earl afternoon. So meat, eggs, brad, and fruit give you energy at different times and helps get you through the work day.

I work on my own schedule. I eat breakfast and lunch/dinner about 2-3. If you get hungry before bed have a piece of fruit or even a cookie. So skip dinner to save money and to regulate eating during the day when you need more energy.

Yes. This is what I have read, from years ago. Despite some who say big breakfast was always around. All it takes is a couple generations and people think the status quo has always been around, and the old status quo is forgotten. Processed food industry foisted this idea of big breakfast upon the American public in order to sell breakfast cereals. Not only that, but sugary foods and drinks that have made Americans fat.

Yep, the idea of 3 meals a day is a rather new concept. Many are now going to “One Meal A Day”.
