Who are these Sisters of Mercy? Activists! The following is from a recent "social justice" event.

As part of a global effort to draw attention to the world's addiction to fossil fuels, Mercy sisters and associates participated in the Hands Across the Hudson Flotilla on May 13 in Albany, New York. This action called “kayaktivism” involved using kayaks and canoes to form a blockade across the river to block barges carrying fracked oil.

Additionally, advocates protested the transportation of oil by train through low-income neighborhoods in Albany, NY.

These actions were part of ten days of Break Free from Fossil Fuels events held on six continents.

the question revolves not around Bergoglio’s theocratic mindset, but whether or not he will stand with tradition and insist that those flouting it, particularly in educational organizations, be removed...

if not, all the proclamations of piety and tradition are meaningless...

And what will Archbishop Cordileone do? Although it is not a diocesan school they still need the archbishop’s license to run a Catholic school or operate any other apostolate in the archdiocese. The sisters should be told to close the school and leave the archdiocese.
