We do not know how God is going to work in the couple’s life beyond the wedding. That’s between them and God. Especially considering how many seemingly perfect Christian marriages tall apart.
And I am weirded out by Piper’s fixation on these matters. He always manages to strike an off chord with me.

I am not supporting pre-marital sex, but this statement is incorrect. The Greek word is 'porneia' where the word 'pornography' comes from. It covers a range of sin, including fornication, but the far more common use was homosexuality and bestiality.

Actually no. John Piper DOES NOT SUPPORT Trump when he believes he is doing something morally wrong. That’s all.

I think I would rather show up to a wedding in support of a marriage rather than essentially boycott a marriage because I’m judging them, where it’s not my place to judge. We are all sinners.
Man does not dictate my relationship with God. I am a Christian. God gave me free will and I use it. My relationship with HIM is personal and I do not need nor will I allow someone else to dictate my behavior. The 10 Commandments has been part of my life as long as I can remember and they will guide me through the rest of my life.

Sin is between God and sinner. I am not the arbiter of anyone’s soul. I think attending the wedding would be a celebration of people who have decided to stop committing that particular sin.
It’s people like this that make it hard to be a conservative.
