No Jewish religious authorities would accept the idea of building the Temple anywhere but on the Temple Mount, on the exact Foundation Stone.
Non-Jews and renegades can make up all the stuff they want but if the Moetzet Chachamei HaTorah and Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah aren’t on board, nothing’s going to happen without the Messiah.
If you read Eze 40-48, the sheer size of God's Temple excludes the Temple Mount. Besides, If it was for God, an earthquake could clear the Mosque off the Mount in a minute or two.
I've always been fascinated by the rational the Jews are using after 2000 years of not having a sacrificial, priestly, Temple, religion. After 2000 years, how will they receive forgiveness of sin with no sacrifices in the Temple not there? Losing the priest system and blood sacrifice with no Temple had to prove to them that something has changed or their religion was never true in the first place. In 90 AD, they changed to a more "spiritual" interpretation of Scripture and reformed their beliefs. If that's been good enough for 1900 years, why long for a new Temple? Paul explained "Circumcision" of the heart is explained in the Tenach and Jesus came to set up His Spiritual Kingdom when they were looking for a Political Kingdom to throw out the Romans. Jews today dismiss the Apostles as heretics and even refuse to look at the rational behind the NT. In the Last Days He will set up His political Kingdom to take back the earth and His people. It's just willful blindness by Israel that keeps them from from seeing the truth.
