1. Noahide laws...yes, there are still many nations which don not obey basic moral values, this can only help I think....
2. continue the return of Jewish people including Lost Tribes....yes, for sure.
3. trying to get a MORAL ETHICAL kind of multi-national assembly....yes (but probably impossible until Moschiah/Messiah is here...) Possibly this might help terminate the sickeningly immoral UN, maybe, by showing that something better can be achieved.
4. animal sacrifice? I personally don’t think this is necessary. King Solomon himself, the Jewish prophets and later rabbinical teachings all carry a strong emphasis on moral conduct plus sincere repentance for any transgressions (with recompense to try to set things right, where possible). I believe this is the way to go, and that a sacrificial ritual might even detract some folks from the moral teachings? At any event, the animal sacrifices have been so mis-understood in some religious traditions that it could raise some unnecessary hackles... maybe best to let that part of the ceremony go by, imho. Possibly excepting that detail...all in all this sounds like a good idea to promote some better morality (civilization) in the world... so I’m for it for sure... Its at least worth trying, pending the eventual Divine intervention of course. The world has so many evil people, societies, rulers... that any light, however small, in this darkness can only help, imho.

Sounds like a dress rehearsal for something in the Left Behind book series. Regarding animal sacrifice, have you ever wondered why Jesus overthrew the money changers’ tables in the temple? The Roman empire had many kinds of coinage circulating throughout the empire. You could only buy the clean sacrificial animals for temple sacrifices with Jewish coins. Thus the money changers converted non Jewish currency into Jewish coin and made a handsome profit in the exchange.

I’m utterly against animal sacrifice. Don’t care which books say it should happen or that God wants it.

Psalm 51:16-19,

For thou hast no delight in sacrifice;
were I to give a burnt offering, thou wouldst not be pleased.
The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Do good to Zion in thy good pleasure;
rebuild the walls of Jerusalem,
then wilt thou delight in right sacrifices,
in burnt offerings and whole burnt offerings;
then bulls will be offered on thy altar.

Of course this is from the Old Testament. Christ’s death on the cross was the final sacrifice. All other sacrifices are worthless symbols - and IMHO would be sacrifices to a false god, and loathsome to God.

yes, the money-changers were definitely performing a needed service (many Greek and later Roman coins carried pictures of their pagan gods, that being idolatry unacceptable to the priests........And Roman coins started carrying pictures of the Roman conquerors’ dictator-emperors, which was an inslut to the Jewish people living under their hard yoke.... And finally....many Roman coins also proclaimed those men to be gods!!......something that the priests COULD not tolerate at ALL! It was impossible in light of all Biblical teaching including the Ten Commandments that a man could be worshiped as divine...).

as for any profit, of course they had to make a profit... just as our banks do nowadays whenever you exchange one currency for another....
(and there were several such bankers or “money-changers” in Jerusalem and many other places you can exchange the idolatrous coinage for clean coins....so nobody was forced to patronize one banker’s table over any other)...

so my take on Jesus was that his objection was to the placement of that banking table in front of the Temple. It could easily have been removed a couple blocks. I am reminded of a Catholic college that gave most of its faculty regular offices (in regular office buildings) but somehow or other placed their graduate Finance (banking) professor’s office right in front of the entryway to the campus chapel... it made for a great deal of humor, referencing of course Jesus’ outburst at the Temple.. smile smile.
to this day, we don’t know how the college did that, was it an oversight or? I do recall another Catholic college which asked for its own telephone exchange and the phone company stuck the school with the prefix 666-
The college asked for it to be changed, for years and years... until finally getting its POV across .. and the prefix changed. Persistence....can sometimes be rewarding.

No need for animal sacrifice. Jesus was the sacrifice.

I keep reading that the Noahide laws found in the Talmud are meant to replace the 10 commandments. They are said to be binding upon both Gentiles and Jews. The worship of Jesus Christ is forbidden by law. Does sound like New World Order stuff, including the combining of all under one religious law.

Yes. I recall reading an article about a group of Jews that perform animal killings using the old customs. Not a “sacrifice” as there is no temple. They say they are doing it to keep the knowledge and traditions so when the temple is built they can resume sacrifices. Some folks say they are sort of a “dooms-day cult”.

Yes. And if this the beginning of the end of the Age then it’s good news.

I Think of the Talmud as “The Book of Mormon” for Jews. Is this the synagogue of Satan? We will know in about 18 months.

This the what the one world govt looks like. No religion per se, all hoping to please God via works of the flesh.

Ummm. Have they done this before?

Jesus was/is the perfect sacrifice, blood of bulls and goats can only be a horrid fetid foul stench in comparison.

That’s for sure. Interesting is the rejection of agendas pursued by anti-family, anti-life entities which appear to be gaining ground.

The conference will culminate in an animal sacrifice made by representatives of the nations on the Mount of Olives in which they will renew the covenant made by Noah upon leaving the Ark.

So, nothing particularly Christian. Got it.

The Bible talks of a 3rd Temple being built in the Last Days. This 3rd Temple will be unusual if they have no Ark of the Covenant to put in the Holy of Holies. That means they will either find it with Tablets inside, along with Aaron's rod and a jar of Manna, or they will build a copy. If it's an empty fake, what does that say about the Temple that is supposed to house God? The world will be in such a mess, the world will accept the Antichrist as God as he got a 7 year peace deal for Israel.

If you look back at Exodus, Moses was on the Mountain of God for 40 days and 40 nights getting the first tablets from God when the people decided that Moses was dead and wasn't coming back. They were tired of waiting. They made Aaron fashion a golden calf from their days back in the slavery of Egypt(the world). Moses came down and broke the tablets and punished the worshipers. This is a picture of the world waiting for the return of Jesus, but in the Last Days, scoffers will say where is His coming and they will get tired of waiting and accept the first counterfeit Jesus that presents himself. Moses went back up the mountain to renew the Covenant and offered to die and go to hell for the Israelites, (Jesus will be the only one allowed to do that, remember Issac was also offered up to God), and comes back down with His face glowing and new tablets. This represents Jesus' second coming after the Antichrist set up house in the 3rd Temple the Jews built. Jesus' next coming will be supernatural and everyone will know it's the true God coming in His glory. He kills 2/3 of the world and sets up a physical Kingdom and builds His own Temple, not made with human hands, as found in Eze 40-48.

Jesus was the final blood sacrifice and He is looking for sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving. Physical circumcision has been replaced by a circumcised heart. Jesus set up His Spiritual Kingdom the first time and He will come back to set up a physical Political Kingdom on earth and sit on the throne of David for 1000 years in the Last days.

There is a lot more, but most people aren't interested in what the Bible really says. The main thing to look for is the 3rd Temple will mark the arrival of the Antichrist and the church will be Raptured out before he shows up. Look how the Jews are so excited about the third Temple knowing they haven't had one for 2000 years. How did they get their sins forgiven for the last 2000 years without the Temple/priest system gone? They are blinded like Paul says in Romans. What they believe doesn't even make sense anymore. If a MAN says he is God, he is clearly NOT God. The second coming of Christ will be spectacular and every eye will see it and He clearly won't be a normal man. The Bible said Moses had "horns of light" emitting from his face so that he put a cloth over his face. That just means the light originated from him, not reflected light. The Antichrist may perform some tricks, but he has no Shekinah Glory.

I’ll have to check my bible, but I had the impression that the money changers were within the temple grounds, perhaps the entry courtyard.

Can you tell me when the Talmud was written, relative to when the 10 Commandments were recognized?
