The English theologian George Hawkins Pember, in his 1876 masterpiece, Earths Earliest Ages, analysed the prophecy of Jesus Christ that says the end times would be a repeat of the days of Noah. Pember outlined the seven great causes of the antediluvian destruction and documented their developmental beginnings in his lifetime. The seventh and most fearful sign, Pember wrote, would be the return of the spirits of Nephilim, the appearance upon earth of beings from the Principality of the Air, and their unlawful intercourse with the human race.
Jesus Himself, in answering His disciples concerning the signs of His coming and of the end of the world, said it would be as the days of Noah were (Matt. 24:37). The implication is, just as it was before the Flood when the spirits of Nephilim were powerful upon earth (Gen. 6:4), mankind would experience an end-times renaissance of the influence of these entities. From Scripture we are made to understand the purpose of this latter-day wave of supernaturalism includes deception (2 Tim. 3:13), and the effect upon mankind would be so successful that heresy and delusion would become firmly entrenchedeven within institutionalized Christianity. In writing of this scenario, Paul prophesied to Timothy that in the latter times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils (1 Tim. 4:1).
Based on contemporary developments, the foretold increase in demonism and its influence within secular and religious society is rapidly unfolding in this centuryabruptly, dramatically, and suspiciously. Biblical scholar Gary Stearman agrees, stating in disturbing language how the manifestation of these powers are quickening now because the world is under conditions in which the influence of Gods Holy Spirit is diminishing.[i]

See Strong’s -— a bully, a tyrant.
Then, in Numbers 14:36, the men whom the LORD said had “slandered” the land of Canaan with an evil report were put to death by a plague. Slander is a false report.
We are living in the best times in history.
That’s along the lines of humanist thought, that man has improved himself. There are many good human beings, but evil is definitely increased in the world, and more so every day.
I must deny that “the influence of God’s Holy Spirit is diminishing”. Satan and his minions will NEVER be more powerful than God. Perhaps the wording should be, “people do not allow the Holy Spirit to influence them as much, today”.
The multiverse conjecture was mostly composed by my brother's closest working colleague, Hugh Everett, in the 70s. I understand Hugh was an atheist. His daughter committed suicide.
Everett's daughter, Elizabeth, died by suicide in 1996 (saying in her suicide note that she wished her ashes to be thrown out with the garbage so that she might "end up in the correct parallel universe to meet up w[ith] Daddy"),[21]
It would seem to be quite difficult to reconcile multiverse, with its all possible simultaneous moral choices, with Christianity, and for other reasons as well.
Watching and waiting!
I agree with you.
It’s an honest question.
Most Christians don’t buy into the Nephilim and what they did or what they are doing.
And yet we still only see through a glass dimly (1 Corinthians 13:12). Imagine if we could see like Elisa did in 2 Kings 6, that other world that is more real than ours?
Of course. The source is more than likely the same = evil.
So you speak for most Christians now?
You’d be surprised how polarizing that topic is.
Most preachers for the past few decades have rebuked even teaching it in their churches.
**PING**
Thank you!
There’s a theory that Ham’s wife was already infected with Nephilim DNA on the Ark.
Another is that “The Watchers” came & picked up where the fallen angels sent to Tartarus left off.
Pinging Mark17 to fill in any blanks or make corrections to the question.
You ever heard of Lovelock Cave in Nevada?
And it’s ancient possible associations with hybrids/nephilim?
LA Marzulli has a video on it.
The Restrainer (Holy Spirit) and His Power isn’t diminishing.
I agree with your assessment.
Until the Age of Grace wraps up He’s working hard convicting sinners & the lost.
I wondered if that might be the case with one of Noah’s daughters-in-law.
I’m speaking from my experience.
That’s one of the theories out there. Might be true, might not be.
Either way, it didn’t take but about 4 generations later for the Nephilim to be back into the picture again.
