Some things are worth taking a day off without pay for. I think this is one. 9/12/09 cost me $1200.00 out of pocket. It was worth it. As to planning: Plan to jamb the city. They can't arrest everybody. We need to prove that WE ARE SERIOUS

I worship the same Jesus that George Washington and Thomas Jefferson did. Think about it.

Time for us to start organizing medical help in other countries. Our doctors will leave, they won’t want to practice medicine here when the Democraps hold guns to their head with medical malpractice liability. They will leave.

WE should be thinking about how we can get conservatives medical help from OUR doctors who will now be living and practicing in OTHER countries. WE are the entrepreneurs who work hard, I’m sure we can come up with something. And we can leave the shitty system to the Democraps who will SO deserve it. Let’s get our thinking caps on. There has got to be a solution.

I'm never giving in. There isn't much the GOP could have done to stop it in the House, Still, 39 Democrats bolted from their party. That is big. And there are lot more moderates in the Senate where they have a great deal of influence. A filibuster can and will be mounted against any bill like the House version. And any bill that does pass the Senate will have to be renegotiated in conference with the House. Its not at all clear if House liberals will settle for less than a complete government takeover of the nation's health care system.

This is a problem, friend. Hussein has won a narrow but important victory. The screws were applied mightily to blue dogs and some bent. The same will happen in the Senate.

Nothing is for sure, but this is NOT a “no problem” kind of situation.

These people are despicable.

Pelosi let the so called Blue Dog Dems vote no so they can go back and say they voted no.

The other Dems think they are safe.

The fact that they voted and passed this bill, has no bearing on the dynamics in the Senate.

Reid and Pelosi are at war with each other. It’s about power.

They don’t have the votes period. This gets bogged down in the Senate.

You pick your battles and the battle is in the Senate...

That is it they caused this. Actually the Republican Party in the NY 23 district did! DeDe only got 3 of the 11 votes and the rest went for other candidates. Should have had a primary!!!!

"Several days before the election while we were all screaming at Newt, Owens said that supported the public option as it was currently written. So, during the lion's share of the campaign he was against the so-called public option, but on Sunday night, less than 30 hours before voting began, he changed his position, quietly. You mean those facts.

Like I said, he broke a campaign promise - Kerry style. He was against it before he was for it.

The only quotes I have seen from Owen early in the campaign said the following...

I have not seen any quote from Owens during the campaign saying that he was specifically against the public option.

And of course in a televised debate, several days before the election, Owens clearly said that he was for the public option and for the bill as it was currently written.

As I said, several days before the election while we were all screaming at Newt, Owens said that he supported the public option as it was currently written.

Those are the facts.

Agreed. If stuff doesn’t get “produced”, then maybe they will listen.

All physicians no that the AMA does not speak for us. Less than 20% of us belong to the AMA, I certainly do not. It is like the AARP, not at all does it speak for all seasoned citizens. This will hurt the AMA horrendously, so be it.
