If President Trump goes down this road and laws are passed that erode our 2nd Amendment rights then he will lose my support. It's this fallacy, that we have a '2nd Amendment' right that doesn't help in my opinion.
The 2nd Amendment is a prohibition on government, it doesn't confer any rights on the citizenry. As written, it's already been eroded multiple times, and will no likely undergo further erosion.

I don’t know, it depends what he signs his name to.
I’m not interested in whatever legislation just for the sake of doing “something” that turns out to be an attack on the civil rights of innocent Americans. That would piss me off.
Still, even if the above occurs, and I am greatly angered, it is still very likely that I will vote for him in spite of that, because considering the alternative, I might have to set this all aside for 2020.
But if something along the lines of a 2nd Amendment abomination type of law occurs, I don’t know... I can’t predict what’s going to happen, so I’m just going to have to pray on that for now.
What I have said regarding Trump doesn’t really apply to the GOP though, because I love Trump, and I hate the GOP. The two are not on equal footing with me at all.

Red Flag proposal is political vote getter, it sounds reasonable and makes 'you' feel good about doing something....however, it is a
government confiscation of guns waiting to happen...how many reputations can be ruined by nosy neighbors or over-cautious law enforcement or just plain vicious people...it will be easy...think of the culture we are experiencing today...racist? White supremacy? Here is a perfact example of narrow mindedness...:

Six of one and a half dozen of the other.
If President Trump passes a law that erodes the limitations of the Second Amendment by government then he is violating the Second Amendment and I would want him gone.

A lot of us saw the danger and raised the red flag (no pun intended) in the beginning, but we were all drowned out by everyone else insisting she will have no influence and Trump is his own man so he will not listen to her.
