Before Karen Monahan, Rep. Keith Ellison's current accuser came forward, another woman, Amy Alexander had accused the first Muslim congressman of physical assault and emotional abuse. The media quickly took Ellison's side, Ellison denied the affair and a judge ordered her not to discuss the relationship. As I wrote in today's article, there are some interesting similarities between the two cases. (Thank you to Bosch Fawstin for the amazing art.) Like Monahan, Amy Alexander was an EJAM volunteer. Also like her, she first met Ellison at one of his talks and he impressed her with his passion and political commitments....

Several months ago, a confusing call was placed by a Planned Parenthood worker in Houston to 911 dispatch during complications following an abortion. A 33-year-old woman continued to lose a dangerous amount of blood at the behemoth abortion mill on the Gulf Freeway as Planned Parenthood tried to circumvent the fact that the woman was bleeding out. It is likely that Planned Parenthood knew that pro-lifers would be pulling the call records to find out what had prompted the ambulance to arrive at Planned Parenthood, and wanted to obfuscate the facts for the public. But in so doing, the worker...

The recording of the 911 call from an apparently badly botched abortion last week at an abortion clinic is Dayton has been made public and the details are shocking for a woman who was victimized. A woman was rushed to the hospital in Dayton, Ohio following a botched late-term abortion that took place at the Women’s Med Center abortion clinic in Dayton. Martin Haskell, who is credit with making the partial-birth abortion procedure a household name, runs the abortion facility that injured the woman. According to local pro-life advocate who filmed emergency medical personnel rushing to the scene, paramedics loaded...

NBC News brass interviewed more than half a dozen staffers during its investigation of the misleadingly edited 911 call placed by George Zimmerman just before he shot the unarmed Florida teenager, said the sources, one of whom is an executive at the network. Upset that his cocaine dealer had given him the wrong change, a South Carolina man called police to complain about the unsatisfactory transaction and, of course, was promptly arrested. According to cops, Dexter White, 41, called 911 to report that he paid his dealer $60 for crack cocaine, but had received only $20 worth of the drug. White contacted police with his consumer complaint around 4:30 AM Friday (an hour at which Better Business Bureau operators apparently were not standing by). A North Charleston Police Department report notes that White, in a written statement, identified his supplier as “C,” and...

CALDWELL, Idaho — Police say an Idaho woman who made a false 911 call to lure paramedics out of their station made a real emergency call minutes later when she got trapped under the station's garage door. Melissa R. Farris died Oct. 2 of injuries suffered when she was crushed by the closing garage door at the Canyon County station. Farris, a former paramedic at the station, had been trying to crawl under the door after the ambulance left to respond to a nonexistent traffic accident she'd called in a few minutes earlier.

State police have refused to release information that might shed light on the response of its Pocono barracks to a February crash off Interstate 476, the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, that led to the death of a Taylor man. The agency has failed to provide even basic information on the incident since The Times-Tribune began making inquiries in August. State police have classified the crash a "nontraffic incident," which directly conflicts with a Lackawanna County coroner's report that found 47-year-old Sam Turoni died from injuries suffered in a vehicle crash. A call reporting the crash was only briefly...

GLENN: Now, in Pasadena, just a suburb outside of Houston, there is a guy named Joe Horn. I've talked about him on the air before and everything I have heard about Joe Horn is that he's a decent human being, that he's a good guy. All of his neighbors say he's like the grandfather of the neighborhood. There is a law in Houston where a guy can protect his own property. You come onto his property; he can shoot you. Well, a friend said, would you watch my house. He was watching the house. Two guys crawl out of a...

How about this poor case, also in Florida? I tell you this state, there's so much wacko stuff going on here. Did you hear that 911 phone call? That 911 phone call, the five-year-old little girl whose parents were shot by some wacko who thought her parents turned him in for growing a marijuana plant or farm or whatever, and the sheriff was on television last night. The sheriff: (paraphrasing) "Well, the sad thing about this when you get right down to it is this man would have not even gone to jail for growing the marijuana. Based on his...
