  • Russian Hacker Sought by US Arrested in Prague

    Associated Press ^ | 10/19/2016
PRAGUE – Czech police have arrested a Russian hacker suspected of cyberattacks in the United States, officials said on Wednesday. Police said an international warrant for the man, who was not named, was issued by Interpol and that officers cooperated with the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation on the case. Hours after the arrest was made public, the professional networking service LinkedIn suggested that the arrest was tied to a 2012 breach of member information. A spokesman for the U.S. Justice Department declined to confirm that or comment on a possible connection. "Following the 2012 breach of LinkedIn member information,...
  • VANITY - If I could write a speech for Trump...

I would love to hear Donald Trump give this speech that I wrote: Hillary claims everything is fine. Stay the course. We are doing just great. Oh really? Maybe that's true in her reality and the reality of her lobbyist cohorts and bureaucratic brokers. Well, I've got news for her. For them. When our once bustling inner cities are ruled by gangs and tens of thousands of our citizens are living in constant fear as their neighbors or children are being murdered and robbed each year. When the FBI reports that the national murder rate jumped 10.4 percent in 2015...

    counter jihad report ^ | 9/21//2012 | Paul L Williams
Despite the expenditure of nearly $50 million, the search for this elusive terrorist has produced no results. Elaborate plots were designed to snag him in Guyana; his photo has appeared on the front page of every leading American newspaper; and a special office, manned by a small army of FBI agents, was set up in Miami to uncover his whereabouts. But Adnan el-Shukrijumah, the Brooklyn-bred jihadi, remains alive and well and more dangerous to America’s national security than ever before. US officials first became aware of him in the wake of Operation Enduring Freedom (the U.S.-led invasion of Afghanistan), when...
  • Another strange occurance at my church tonight (possibly terror related)

I hesitate to write this because I don't want to come off as paranoid. But I figured its worth it to share info just in case there really is something in the planning stages. Especially after the church masacre last week in Baghdad, I believe that it is highly possible that a similar attack could take place in the US. Tonight 4 middle-eastern men were seen down our childrens' wing at our church. They were walking briskly and talking in Arabic. A woman spotted them at the other end of the hall. She tried to catch up to them but...
  • The Oil Spilleth Over (VANITY: Clinton, Sestak and Birnbaum - one very "busy" Thursday morning)

Fellow FReepers, please excuse the vanity but I cannot find a source that has noted the incredible admission of Obama being too busy to know of Birnbaum's resignation last Thursday to the fact that Bill Clinton was at the White House that very morning apparently to get their stories straight on the Sestak scandal. Thursday afternoon, May 27th, when asked how he could possibly not have known about her resgination/firing, he responded that he "had a bunch of other stuff going on." (video here: http://hotair.com/archives/2010/05/27/obama-um-im-not-sure-if-the-mms-director-was-fired-or-resigned/ ) Later we learned that Bill Clinton was at the White House meeting with Obama...

(WXYZ) - The FBI was conducting raids Saturday night at multiple locations in southeast Michigan. Action News has learned Homeland Security and the Joint Anti-terrorism Task Force is also involved in a major operation. Federal officials would not say who they were targeting or where, but the FBI has set up a command center at the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department in Ann Arbor, where they have brought in two satellite trucks and a radio tower. Agents have also obtained search warrants and multiple arrests have been made

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Organizers say thousands of people are headed to the nation's capital to protest on the seventh anniversary of the invasion of Iraq. A coalition of anti-war groups, led by military veterans as well as activists Ralph Nader and Cindy Sheehan, are scheduled to hold a rally at noon Saturday in Lafayette Park near the White House and march through downtown. Stops on the route include military contractor Halliburton, the Mortgage Bankers Association and The Washington Post offices. The protest is expected to draw much smaller crowds than the many tens of thousands who marched in 2006 and...

I was just informed of a troubling incident that took place at my church yesterday. A young middle-eastern man came in and asked about our church including questions like "Are your services normally full?" When given a diagram of the building (commonly done to help visitors find their way around) he apparently "lit up" a little. He then left in a blue four door sedan that was waiting for him outside. No one wants to jump to conclusions but we also want to be vigilant and aware. I'm sharing this here since I know alot of FReepers are church-goers. Maybe...

THE DAY LIBERTY CRIED By EJS 9/13/01 She was there as it all began, They arrived in boats from foreign lands, She was moved to behold their new-found pride, But she held her tears, she never cried. She saluted her beloved sons, As they boarded ships and manned their guns, To defend her name despite the cost, She still calls the names of the sons she lost. In war and peace she held her post, Torch in hand, steadfast, composed, Until the day horror filled her eyes, That Autumn day when Liberty cried. She cringed at every piercing scream, Each...
  • DHS Foresees Widespread Panic After WMD Attack (From September 08 - Think about it now!)

The U.S. Homeland Security Department warned in a secret 2006 document that victims of a potential WMD attack might be few in number relative to people who imagine injuries resulting from the event, United Press International reported today (see GSN, May 1). The document states that low confidence in the leaders of an affected area could amplify public panic following a chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear attack. "Mass psychogenic illness (can) spread rapidly throughout a population," the document says, describing the ailment as a “phenomenon in which social trauma or anxiety combines with a suspicious event to produce psychosomatic symptoms,...

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - A group of friends gets fired on the same day. Troubled cops check into a halfway home. A Wall Street executive loses his job and has to reconnect with his small-town family. Laughing yet? Those are a few log lines for next fall's TV pilots -- the comedy pilots. Networks are looking at recession-friendly ideas for their new half-hours, with many projects embracing characters in crisis and avoiding office settings. CBS' "Waiting to Die" is, according to its description, a "buddy comedy about two simple guys who are happy with their life, no matter how...

While much attention has been focused on threats to maritime security posed by cargo container ships, terrorists could also attempt to use oil tankers to stage an attack. If they were able to place an atomic bomb on a tanker and detonate it in a US port, they would cause massive destruction....SNIP... Last night as our kids returned home from their annual tradition of trick or treating, we decided that it was now time to begin preparing them for the new America that Reid, Pelosi, and Obama will soon begin to shape. I announced, "Okay, kids. Before you start to eat any candy, lets all get in a circle and pour out your bags in front of you." Now Jason, our 14 year old, with over a decade of experience of this annual rite, had quite the loot. He had learned through experience the best route to maximize his take. He and...

ABC News' Matthew Jaffe Reports: As Election Day looms just over two weeks away, Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., said Saturday that with Republicans firing "vicious" and "dangerous" attacks at Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., voters are "having a difficult time" opting for the man who would become the nation's first African American president. "Undecided people are having a difficult time just culturally making the change, making the move for the first African American president in the history of the United States of America," the Democratic vice-presidential nominee said at a San Francisco fundraiser Saturday evening. "So we need to respond. We...

Remember that Iranian ship that the Somali pirates seized? Yeah the same one where the pirates suddenly started experiencing blisters, hair loss and even death. I speculated earlier that the reported symptoms were dangerously close to what one would expect from severe radiation poisoning. Apparently others are thinking the same thing: Russian sources claim she was an enormous floating dirty bomb, intended to detonate after exiting the Suez Canal at the eastern end of the Mediterranean and in proximity to the coastal cities of Israel. The entire cargo of radioactive sand, obtained by Iran from China (the latter buys desperately...

I'll keep this short and sweet. Someone needs to tell McCain that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are the epitome of failed government regulation. They were created to regulate the way loans are doled out, n'est pas? So the next time His Highness, Obama, slams McCain for "bragging" about being a de-regulator, he needs to grow a pair and point this out! And while he's at it, he needs to create "ECORN" Expose the Community Activist Right Now. Okay, I feel better now. I can eat my sandwich.

Well, here we are, October 6, 2008. Less than a month before the most important election of our lifetime. For months now we've been hearing about, fearing, and even predicting a host of various October surprises. Well, it looks like we couldn't even wait till October. For in the past two weeks we have witnessed the "mortgage meltdown", "the Wall Street bailout", the first-ever deployment of a regular Army unit to respond to civil unrest, and arrogant mocking of the US by Putin, Chavez and Achmadinejad, complete with Russian wargames coming within a few miles of the Alaskan border. Meanwhile...

Evidence - though odd - is arising that there are nuclear and militaristic agreements between Iran and China. Despite the weird way in which evidence came to light, the end result is the same; an alliance of nations averse to US demands is forming. A large number of Somali pirates who participated in the hijacking of an Iranian merchant vessel on August 21st, 2008 have died. The pirates reported both hair loss and skin burns – two symptoms of radiation exposure – and “fell gravely ill ‘within days’ of boarding” the Iranian ship. SNIP) The ship set sail from Nanjing,...

Now that the government-heavy bailout of the financial markets has been thumped by the House, Congress must explore a more market-based approach. Republicans and Democrats sent a strong message Monday in rejecting the U.S. Treasury's plan to put up, if need be, $700 billion to take bad debt off Wall Street's ledger.... But in political defeat and financial despair, there is opportunity: • Cut the growth-killing corporate tax rate, "zero out" the capital gains tax and return a prodigious amount of private capital to the market. • Repeal Sarbanes-Oxley. The regulations designed to combat fraud only encumbered many thin-margin smaller...
