I’m with you, I really dig Jindal. I don’t know what left wing policies the guy above is talking about, but maybe I’m just not informed enough about his yet... but I’ve seen him interviewed at least 3-4 times and he sounds like one of the most articulate, intelligent, solidly conservative guys we have in the running for the party... I think he’d rock... Its Jindal for me too over palin, unless she really does some cramming and works on her unprepared speaking... i loved her, and think shes great, but no matter when she talked (aside from her first two public appearances) i was forced to keep my fingers crossed that she didn’t botch anything... i think with some work she could be a formidable candidate in 2012... i think a Jindal/Palin ticket would rock... or the other way around even....

I agree he didn’t lose it for lack of exposing the rev.... but that didn’t help.... as much as anything I think McCain appeared too jumpy in his decision making... that is indeed a common thing among mavericks (man I hate that word after this election) who tend to make those type of rash decisions in the heat of a battle, not steady well planned and thought out decisions... now I would rather have this type of person in the white house regardless cause they would be balanced by a good team but then would lead the team... whereas the obama type would and will let the team lead him...

I do have to admit I gained some respect for McCain this last few weeks that I never had for the man while he was just a senator... McCain has always been too bipartisan worrying too much for the other side... my housemate and I got in many arguments over this very thing over the years, he loved it, and I couldn’t stand McCain for it. To me McCain always seemed too concerned with how people perceived him.... perhaps it was a byproduct of the taint that so humiliated him in the keating scandal... he didn’t take that fire and level it out but took the extreme in his desire to be liked equally by both sides.... at least thats how it seemed... but this last few weeks he began to surprise me with his fire, but even in that fire you could see his reservation of really going all out... particularly in the Rev Wright mess... there is no way in a million years that should have ever been taken off the table... not one person who has been to a church more than 3-4 times can honestly say they don’t generally know where that church pastor is coming from... and worse Obama wrote about it in his book, and still he was able to skate above the story and McCain helped him by putting it basically off limits... so to end it on a good note, though McCain is a very good man and I have the utmost respect for the man, he made some very obvious mistakes that cannot be written off....

I like Sarah Palin a lot, but she got her shot... Viva La Jindal! That guys the new Reagan and unlike Sarah (God Bless her for real) he can articulate it clearly, intelligently, and convincingly! Unless Palin gets to that point in the next two years, she’ll be a Repub mainstay, but not for president.... she might have another shot at VP though...

I will respect the office of President and thus Obama... But make no mistake... this was not a “fair” election by far... unless you would call a fight between an elephant and an ant a fair fight. Obama benefitted from many things, but my contention i still honor, the root of the win was the MSM. Even Obama’s money wouldn’t have been what it was had they not been in the tank, he wouldn’t have been able to fundraise had an honest media even remotely looked into how he was raising money, or to complicity manipulate the populace they way they did... again... the MSM is the winner.

why doesn’t rove keep his trap shut... i swear, for weeks now him and many FOX folks have been slowly gulping the koolaid for obama... its one thing to be realistic, its another to continually leave no opening for the polls being in error and just buying into this stuff hook line and sinker....

He’s done the same thing before, no one cares unfortunately... i remember a few months ago a story coming out that the o campaign did a similar lottery type fundraiser and the city officials said it was against the law, but somehow the o got out of it by some loophole or something...

I still don’t get the slammin this guy did you read the whole post, the majority of it you would never in a million years hear out of the mouth of a democrat or even left repub/ moderate, only one statement in the whole thing that you’re basing your view on that one qualifier. But like a lot of conservatives this guy probably is sick of gw bush’s spending, keeping his veto pen in a lock box, and his freakout on this bailout. I know thats how I feel, but if I were to write to a certain audience that i wanted to hear what I had to say and didn’t want to just get them mad then I would be vague to get them to listen and figure it out for themselves all I know is this post sounds like the guy is for: 1. small government 2. gun rights 3.low taxes 4. pro life 5. supports the war 6. can’t stand anything about obama. The guy sounds conservative to me, maybe leaning a bit libertarian at most

The guy sounds pretty down the line conservative/ libertarian... doesn’t sound like hes thinking McCains more moderate...also i don’t hear any leftist arguments in any of the post, what makes you think this? simply because he runs a punk rock label?

    cut em some slack!
i’m sure like a lot of conservatives they are disguested with Bush’s spending spree, just didn’t feel the need to enumerate it.

the rest of the post looks like they’re pretty straight up the line on the right end of the spectrum, maybe a little more libertarian...

Good to see Armstrong turning around... last i could remember I could have sworn he said on hanity that he would vote for obama precisely cause he was black... or at least thats what he hinted to... said he’d have a really hard time not voting for obama... even though he didn’t agree with him on anything... but this sounds good, looks like some of the black conservatives are coming around... i was getting worried when I started noticing some men I really respected starting to make some really sad statements leading to the conclusion they would go for obama...
