OK, can someone summarize what all this means? I just can’t keep track of all the players. Never could.

Excellent reporting. I have believe this to be a true account but there has got to be even more. I have read about the Soros connection with some important mines in that area. We sure were on the wrong side of that whole situation and still are. The fix was in with Clinton, and Bush did nothing to redress the wrongs. The Serbs should have been our allies, and we destroyed them to give the radical Muslims their own country right there in Europe.

...This war like most was a distraction, illusion and a lie...

...Congress didn't declare war on Iraq, oppp, they gave GWB authority to remove Hussein over a UN sanction. The same pundits that trash the UN on one hand, agreed with this. “some things are blatantly unconstitutional, but, we can bend the constitution when we see a threat to homeland security. Today, he's our friend, tomorrow he's our enemy...

...I'm not surprised that America has replaced it's sovereignty for a new world order, I'm just sad...

George Washington said the US should stay out of foreign entanglements. It’s not the business of a free people to meddle in another country’s business. Our army is to protect us from foreign invasion.
Oh well. So much for good advice.

Piytar said: “I just can’t keep track of all the players. Never could.”

This is precisely why it was so easy for the politicians and the media to make the Serbs the “bad guys”.

The Serbs should have been our allies...

As they were through two world wars.

The Balkan breakup happened because Germany wanted independence for its old ally and partner in crime Croatia, and because the Clinton administration actually thought Germany might leave NATO and form a Central European alliance if we didn't back their play.

I’ve already debunked this clown. Where should we start? With Milo Djukanovic and the Montenegrin leadership’s claim that “30,000 Ustashas” were about to invade Montenegro from Dubrovnik? Or should we simply link the Montenegrin documentary about the war showing what actually happened and why Montenegro apologized to Croatia for invading?

"I’ve already debunked this clown. Where should we start?"

Yawn.... Sure you have, Dio.

Respected Irish-American college professor Emeritus, with no bone to pick with anyone other than knowing what really happened -- with film to back it up, and you "debunked him with one hand tied behind your back", I suppose?

And you can turn wine into water, too --of course Dio -- and your next psych meds are due when?

And how do you explain the letter of Croatian actress Mira Furlan (Babylon Five, Lost) at the beginning of the war, when most Croats turned on her for being married to a Serb?

My cousin, Krsto, felt the same -- only his wife was a Croat/Italian from Istria.

Diocletian debunked Maher. Caligula made his horse a consul. Maher let a typo slip through: Croatian artist Ivo Grbic was to testify on Dubrovnik at Milosevic's "trial" at the ICTY, not in 1993, but in 2003. I hope Dio sent him a get-well card.

Well I hope you're not the same Maher in the article at the head of this thread, because being a useful idiot for a dead despot isn't really a good use of anybody's time.

Dubrovnik was dealt with under Pavle Strugar's case, and he was found guilty, as anyone who hasn't been affected by Serbian disinformation would have expected.

Hi clown! Tell us again about the "30,000 Ustasha based in Dubrovnik" ready to invade Montenegro.

Well Boka, there were no "30,000 Ustasha" ready to invade Montenegro, were there?

The Montenegrins invaded, pillaged, plundered, and murdered. And the Montenegrins have since apologized, which has led to closer ties between Croatia and Montenegro since the Montenegrins have rejected the Greater Serbian project.

Have you seen the Montenegrin documentary about the invasion of Croatia and the attack on Dubrovnik? It completely destroys Maher's bullshit.

The Montenegrins realize what they did and they apologized. We forgave them.

Montenengro's Milo Djukanovic is a pimp -- a Mafia Don-- who'd screw his own mother for the right price. His government is a joke, and is up to its eyeballs in corruption. I'm sure that there was a dollar figure attached to that "apology to Croatia".

Djukanovic along with Bulatovic (Milosevic's puppet) and Kostic were the three heads of Montenegro at the time. It was they who disseminated all the nonsense about Croatia getting ready to invade Montenegro and it was they who ordered the invasion of Croatia and the pillaging and destruction.

Djukanovic admitted that they lied and they were responsible for the invasion and the destruction.

Croatia and Montenegro are now on an excellent footing in relations, with Croatian firms investing millions in developing the Montengrin coast (a friend of mine from Split is heading up a project in Budva as we speak).

The Montenegrins are in a majority ashamed for what they did to Croatia and regret being used by the Serbs. It's all water under the bridge now.
