That’s my point. Someone had to request the proper documents to establish that a child resulted from the marriage, but she was granted the divorce with almost no involvement from Obama Sr. It seems that he was never required to pay child support, so in order to apply for aid in Hawaii, a COLB was filed.

It would be interesting to know if she ever received state assistance for her children (maybe at different times?), especially since I understand that her parents were pretty well off.

People have always been saying that Anne fell short of this by almost 5 months. But if this document is not a forgery and he was born in Kenya, Anne must have fallen short by several months more since her “physical presence” was not in the U.S.
