First off, there’s no way a change is made without getting someone who could conceivably counteract the obvious negative of admitting you made a major mistake in your VP choice (especially when you are trumpeting your campaign as evidence of your managerial experience).

Right now Hillary is the only one for whom such a move would make sense. But I don’t believe such a move would make sense for her. Watching Obama crash and burn, and then laying claim to party leader makes a lot of sense for her. I think a lot of Democrats are going to be ticked at Obama for ultimately running such an inept campaign in a winnable year for them.

Obama won’t replace Biden because that would require him to admit a mistake in judgment. And it’s one he put some thought into. It’s one thing to throw Wright or whoever under the bus. Those people were from his past. But the Biden pick was front and center. He won’t have himself made to look like an idiot.

He won’t just dump Biden. Biden will withdraw for health reasons or a family crises or something. He will put Hillary on the ticket and it won’t seem strange because she would be the most logical choice. Of course all of us will see through it but the crazy moonbats won’t. They are his base anyway. We may lose some of the Hillary voters we picked up, though.
