I said it before this guy got the white house, that this is probably the only person who could make the Carter administration look good, and he's well on his way to accomplishing that task. This schlub is so inept and so far out of his league, as are all the idiots he's brought with him, that the mess he's creating, but consciously and unconsciously is epic in scope and scale.
History will sum up the Fauxbama administration in 2 simple words..:

That’s how it is at the school my child attends... of course my children will never see the inside of a public school as a student. For exactly this reason, and countless others. This isn’t over by a long shot, he still has basically four years to create a dependent class. The ONLY hope we have is if the administration is forced to employ tax cuts and business friendly policies in order to save the economy. I don’t think the republicans in the house and Senate have the stones to keep fighting. It won’t be long before the go along to get along mentality takes over.
Well, we only bought our home about 5 years ago. With what is going on now I have no idea what our home is worth. I would think we’d have only about 25,000-30,000 in equity.
So, I don’t see us going anywhere to soon. I admit,, years ago I hadn’t thought of planning our lives around our nation collapsing. Silly me!

My point is that I thought the time frame (30 days) was way too short; AND that the idea that Obama & the RATs are politically dead & defeated in 30 days is nonsense.
In 30 days: they will still have a majority in both houses; they will still hold the presidency - the best bully pulpit in the country; & the fawning left will still back Obama to the hilt.

The above says to me the author believes the Rats will be politically dead in 30 days.
Given that they will still be in power in 30 days, they can continue their agenda, or admit error & reverse course (really cut spending, huge tax cuts, stop the bailouts, etc.).
I do not believe Obama/Pelosi/Reid will EVER admit their policies are/were bad for the country. They are cut from the same cloth as Jimmy Carter. They will fudge the numbers, throw money or threats at the loudest voices of dissent, & lie like dogs, until they choke in Nov. 2010 & 2012.
Obama & Pelosi are basically Koolaid drinkers - they are zealots. They don't care the economy is tanking - they expected that - it's an "opportunity". The idea that the financial ruin of millions of Americans is an "opportunity" is straight out of a Jim Jones Koolaid party, don't you agree? They don't care that their support is falling - THEY are still in charge. This is their opportunity & “damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead”.
The only thing that will stop them is a large majority of Democrats in the House & Senate revolt & remove Pelosi & Reid as their leaders, while sending Obama a stern message to take a 4 year vacation. That would be political suicide for the RATS, & Yellowstone is as likely to erupt as that happening in the next 30 days or even the next 18 months. (My apologies to the Vulcan the volcano god for tempting the Fates)
Yes, my wife and I are from the silent generation, and we did all that you noted.
I feel that many of our sons, daughters, nephews and nieces who have the same basic ethics will forge a new political entity.
I had to laugh re the jury duty. We had been in our present home for about a year when I got a jury duty summons for a bad murder case involving biker gangs/drugs and only God knows what else.
When I was asked if I had any problem with the death penalty my response was: “No Problem. I would provide the gun and bullets and volunteer to serve in a firing squad!”
Of course, I was dismissed by the defense attorney’s in seconds.
Flash forward about 2 decades, and I was called up for a jury re a clymer who had commited fraud against elderly widows.
I was selected for the jury and the jury selected me as the jury foreman. After we returned to the courtroom and sat down, the Judge, whom I knew, asked me some questions re my background, qualifications and business knowledge and if my mother was still alive and my MIL.
I summed up my back ground, noted that our mothers were widows and still alive, and that I had served on a couple of financial committees for non profits. Then the judge asked who my tax attorney was. I told him, (she was his tax attorney).
As I sat down, the defense attorneys approached the bench, and I heard my name mentioned a couple of times. They looked at me and the Judge smiled at me. A couple of minutes later, the defendant pleaded guilty.
The Judge smiled, dismissed us and said, “Thank, you. What happened, sometimes when good jurors are selected!”
That is a great story!
I and the other jurors were stunned and a little disappointed there was no trial.
Later the Judge’s words sank in with me. The guy went to jail, and he got justice and so did the relatives of those who were scammed.
Unfortunately, there is not much we can do before 11/2010 and even then the Gelding Old Party will have to get a testicle & spine implant in order to even begin to retake the Majority in the House and/or Senate. And with HALF the American population dependent on the government for their livelihood and HALF the population who do not pay ANY income taxes, the future doesn't look very good. Who says "Communism is dead!"
I hope & pray that Chief Justice Roberts will follow up on the challenges to Obama’s eligibility to be POTUS.
