I’d absolutely love to see a stcok chart that tracks gains and losses when compared to which party controls congress. Clinton didn’t get the stock market rising under his watch until after Newt’s group took over. Bush had the best rise when he had a Republican majority (if I recall correctly). Regardless of Zerobama’s credit or blame, the stock market started pooping out when Pelosi and Reid started running the houses of congress. There seems to be a correlation.

Over on DU they are convinced that the economy will rebound this year or early next. Why? Obama!
This is why econ should be required for all high school students. Scratch that, it should be taught alongside math and English from grade one. People have NO appreciation of how the economy grows, how wealth is created, how standards of living are raised, etc. They just expect it to happen...somehow...and that the government can just keep taxing and spending and it has no adverse effects.
That whole housing thing is a bunch of bull. Who needs a bailout if they are paying their bills? It makes no sense!
We need a Reagan and I don't say that with a political slant.

Sadly enough we are stuck with a "community organizer" for four more years.

I’ve often wondered when someone will leak some damaging facts about him and we can all forward the proof to our lib friends and say “I told you so.”
Not if people can’t pay their property taxes. Some school systems are talking about going to a four day week to save money because their budget is so bad. We are getting hit in our county with a $200 additional property tax bill in April to supplement what the state couldn’t pay the county for.
I’m still paying my 1600 a month mortgage, Barely.
What happens when i can’t pay anymore?
Likely all my neighbors are in the same boat.
What happens when my whole neighborhood Defaults, or Half my town, the whole town then my state?
I’ve read more than enough fiction novels describing the end of the world due to disease, comets, meteors, nuke holocaust etc to see where this might go.
It seems none of these disasters compare to the Obama nightmare.

You are absolutely right. Japan is already in a Depression, China is rioting AND they are having to pour out most of their food supply due to melamine additives. That’s a whole ‘nother year before food gets going again over there. Russia and Europe are on the verge of crashing daily just like us.
We have got to understand it may come down to your and yours and that’s it for a while.
