Oh boy....anoter good one to read today.
Oh you are going to get flamed for that. She might do better if she had time to prepare. Who knows.
In my opinion, he’s past the tipping point already.

I have to imagine that at least some of the Democrats are deliberately destroying this country. They can’t all be this stupid.
Though the GOP may inherit control of Congress again by default — what will be left to govern ?
they’ll blame Bush
What difference does a day make, or a month? Does anyone belive Obama is going to become a capitalist in one month?

None of us will have a job in the conventional sense. But we shall still all have a job, and that is to resuscitate the spirit of America as we once knew her.
This may require the reassertion of the sovereinty of the respective states that belong to the union that is known collectively as the “United States of America”. “Untied States” is more like it.
“Our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor” were not just words when they were first penned. Those who signed the pledge that day were to know great difficulties, and some never saw the fruits of their efforts. Their estates were reduced to smoking ruins, and some died in ignominy, their families gone, their name all but erased from history, save for the fact they had signed boldly in the face of overwhelming odds.
We were led down this road once before, and we saw here it led - into a country that was badly mismanaged, on the verge of becoming a bad copy of the Soviet Union, and faced with a war that seemed to be unwinnable at its onset.
The war was in fact our salvation, as it united the nation with a purpose it had not known for years, and in uniting, the powers in Washington saw the futility of containing these people again in that generation.
But they have been working, working steadily since six decades before, when they saw the spark of what it was to be an American reignited. Their sole purpose since then has been to extinguish that spark, and getting the majority harnessed once again to pursue their schemes of “equality”.
How would the states become more soverein (spelling)?
Thoughts. That is what I think would be great. United Southern States of America. at least south
“Me thinks more and more that “conservative” and “liberal” speak is going to replace “Republican” and “Democrat” speak.”
You may be on to something.
There is another category, which I have a hard time trying to label it. But it lays somewhere between real independents and Blue Dogs. A lot of younger/hard working guys/gals with good heads on their shoulders are saying no to both parties. Our younger 40 something son and his friends fall into this new emerging group. They are very cynical and rightfully so about both parties and their greed in DC, at the state capitol and local government.
I’m actually with Rush now. I think our only hope is that Obama is so obviously trying to take us down the wrong path that the country wells up in rememberance of what we are all about and votes in patriots to right the ship.
Excellent point mylife!
Many haven't forgot, they haven't given it thought in the first place.
Whatever happened to the “Day One” mantra? What has he done since day one to help the Economy or create jobs? What jobs are going to be available to the returning vets?
When is he going to look us straight in the eyes instead of left and right to the tele-prompters? How can we ever believe in him at this point?
I go over the DU and DailyKos and they are still talking about Bush, how many more electoral votes they are going to gain and how bad Rush is. They can’t handle the Truth.
If we feel the hurt, the rest of the world will feel twice the hurt.
That is a volatile mix
And what happened to his famous “good judgment?”
Nazi Pelosi said Barack Obama didn’t need experience to be a good president. She said he had great judgment and that that’s why America could trust him to an effective president.
I don’t know about you, but I’m all tapped out of trust ... and soon to be money.
We should be raking him over the coals about his “judgment.” That was his platform.
