Exactly—the danger in simply projecting from trends!

However, it is people like Jim Cramer that are having buyers’ remorse. If enough of these people defect from the Democrats the GOP could be in business in 2010.

You must not know these clueless morons who elected him (not the leftists or the blacks). The people I am talking about watch MSNBC and that lesbian talk show host and think they are learning something. They read the NY Times, Boston Globe or Washington Post. They often have a big chip on their shoulder for whatever reason against Bush or the Republicans (I admit that could change). They are voting for what they see as their interests (believing Obama to be protectionist, etc).

Add them to the unions, blacks, leftists, and even the unemployed looking for a better handout, and the Democrats will hold majority approval for the foreseeable future.

A few of us were talking about this last night. The only way Congress will even consider some action is if their own constituents start hammering on them and making them fear about re-election chances. Other than a recall on POTUS, I don’t see how this will be stopped. They’re all going to do just what they want and say whatever they believe will appease the Sheeple.

Last Tuesday the messiah called the bottom in the stock market by announcing it was a good time to buy stocks for the ‘long term’.

Should this ‘announcement’ prove correct, his ratings will recover and critics will be silenced for a time.

Things are likely to get better before they get worse. The ultimate bottom will likely occur in mid 2010 when real estate prices stop falling.

So far, there has been some good news out there in regard to “leading libs” changing their tune. Whoopi Goldberg is one. And a BIG one.

The quote from Whoopie was from April 2008. Bush was in office, so she could bash the government.

Whoopie will NEVER throw 0bama under the bus.

If 4.5% unemployment is considered ‘full’ employment in a country of 310 million people....why is 9% or 10% unemployment an unmitigated ‘disaster’?

"...constituents start hammering on them...."

That would like we did with TARP, the bailout, blah, blah....

Every day SarahPAC is growing leaps and bounds and while Sarah watches from the sidelines preparing herself to do battle in 3 years Obama is being hoisted by his own petard.

Sarah looks in the mirror. America, I told you what was going to come. What more could I have done?

She's certainly not a messiah, and she's not worth wasting energy over.

If a Baby Boomer has lost 60yrs of savings in the stock market on the eve of their retirement, and Obama doesn’t even watch the market, then that Baby Boomer who can’t retire blames Obama and Democrats for not restoring the market.

we can only hope. But unfortunately the greatest generation has proven disappointingly stupid when it comes to the democrat party. the AARP forum is the most stupid discussion board I ever read (aside from DU)

I hate to dash your enthusiasm, but I wouldn't put too much faith in that. When the time comes, it will be like a rock thrown into a stagnant pond. The scum will coalesce and cover the ripples and soon it will be as if it never happened.

“However, it is people like Jim Cramer that are having buyers’ remorse”

I would not get too excited about Jim. He is a life long RAT. He may not be happy at this exact moment, but this guy gives money to Schumer and Dodd and has for years!

He will absolutely vote a straight RAT ticket in 2010 and 2012. America could be a burning ash heap with zero holding the flame thrower and caught on film doing it, and Jim will still push the RAT button. And so will most RATS like goldbrick, and the rest.

Hehe I out debate them and leave them sputtering. Its too fun, kind of like a sport.

My favorite was telling a liberal who had just insisted that higher taxes were a good thing in Portland Oregon. I came back with, so spending 200,000$ a year for a lawn on the roof of the City Council building was a good idea and she approved of that? LOL She was like... “WHAT? There is a lawn on the roof?” I said, yep, YOUR tax dollars at work, have a nice day. That was fun!

Hot tip to Scott: if Obama could take us down faster, he would. He’s happy as a Muslim in Mecca, partying every Wednesday like it’s 1999. He’s riding OP$!

My intuition is telling me that when he gets unpopoular enough, someone (in the Media perhaps) will get either the long form BC, Occidental College or Columbia College records, and expose him as a usurper. However, he will refuse to resign, and that’s when all hell breaks loose.
