What has happened to our country? I remember as a child, going to school and proudly saying the pledge of allegiance in the mornings. I wanted to be in the military so bad (and I went on to pursue that dream and serve for 13 years). Things just felt safer back then, the essence of who we were as a country was right in our faces, we could touch it, understand it. It felt like we were ALL on the same team, our goal was simple…Love our family, support our family, love our country, support our country. What ever happened to putting country before self? Do you all remember how united as Americans we felt after 9/11? Our flags flown proudly everywhere we went in the US, by people of all shapes and color. Why don’t we see that know as much as back then? I’ll tell you why (my humble opinion), it’s because we are losing the war on terror. I’m not saying it’s being lost in Afghanistan or Iraq but on our very door step. Radical Islamists are very patient and a lot smarter then we give them credit for. September 11th set in motion a slow and deliberate plan to take over our nation and transform it from the inside out. I’ve done some research on the internet, believe it or not we’ve actually had more mosques constructed after 9/11 then ever before. Their goal as stated by themselves is to convert ALL of us “infidels” to their radical way of life (in turn we lose our identity as America).
There is a forum (has a lot of followers) out there that I have followed for quite some time know. The website was just entertainment to me, it delt with conspiracies, weather disasters, current affairs, earthquakes and such things. It’s funny but breaking news on all sorts of issues (still is in a way) seemed to pop up on there before fox news or CNN. In the last 2 years every time I go into that forum all I see is anti-American hate. The most worrisome thing is that as part of their profile’s there is a small flag (only members) of the country they are from. The flag is displayed along with any thread they post in. Guess what country I’ve noticed has had an uptick in anti-US rhetoric? Yup you guessed it, our own USA. They even have “Americans” openly saying we deserve to get bombed and Nuked on our very homeland. Everyday all I see is Iran does not deserve this or America is evil and all we do is kill innocent babies all day (by the way Ron Paul seems to be a favorite there). My question is, are these guys really Americans or just imposter's attempting to turn everyone towards the Muslim (radical side) way of life? On the other hand they just might be Americans (like I said we are losing the war at home).
It’s interesting that we had never had a Muslim president (even though he probably won’t admit it) until just a couple of years after 9/11. If that’s not a sign of us losing the war at home what is? Has this president not worked AGAINST U.S. interests around the globe than any other president? Has he not given the cold shoulder to Israel more than any other president? Has he not been weaker when it comes to our national defense, military and foreign affairs more than any other president? I’m not saying he was placed there by radicals as a plan, or that he is Anti-US. I do believe him being elected is a product of the behind the scenes work of radicals to gain the hearts and minds of Americans. Sadly minorities who reside in impoverished neighborhoods are their biggest target. Americans who might not have access to the education and resources others have. I’m a minority by the way (currently unemployed at that) so please don’t say I’m a racist (and I live in what some might call a ghetto). I guess I just wanted to rant a bit about what’s happening and what might be coming.
My fellow Americans, this year we must vote wisely. Unfortunately I’m afraid that even if we choose a great president the fight ahead will still be great. Consider him to be a speed bump to slow things down in our favor while we re-group and prepare for more wars at home and abroad. I don’t have the luxury of having a house (small apartment’s all I got) that I can post my US flag (which I do have) outside of. Please post yours if you can for all of my fellow soldiers (I just recently separated) who are still on the front lines, and the ones that could not return. I’ve served in Afghanistan and Iraq plus been to several other countries in the line of duty. I have looked into the enemies eyes and seen hate that I had never seen in anyone’s eyes before. They will not stop , they will not give up until they have achieved their goals. I might sound evil or a bit extreme (I’m a proud conservative don’t misjudge me) when I say the following but it’s what I believe. It’s time to unleash our war dogs currently serving, our enemies do not stick to the regulations or follow rules of engagement. I have seen way to many US soldiers killed while trying to stick to the “rules” of WAR that are imposed upon them. I’ve seen Americans jailed because they had to bend or break a certain regulation in order to save the lives of their fellow soldiers. Let’s stop worrying about what other might say or how they will react when they themselves don’t care about their own actions. Guess what? They already hate us so what the heck. What's a little more hate in our direction if it helps save lives and get us closer to winning and ending this war. I’m not saying go out and kill innocent people on purpose (in no way is that correct). I’m just saying give the leash some more slack and let us show the enemy what we are really capable of. Let us put the fear of god in them, chances are they will think twice about anything they do from there on.

50 or more years of 24 x 7 media propaganda declaring how evil, corrupt, selfish and mean the United States was while attacks were waged on every foundational institution.

the left is winning in their efforts to crater that which they hate. capitalism and freedom. even supposed ‘republican’ congressmen could care less about the founding documents, national defense, national spending, or the national debt. anyone trying to bring events to their attention is met with scorn and silent ridicule. you might as well talk to a wall.
the only thing that would change our situation takes years to have any impact. education. unfortunately, the education the people have received has left them so ill equipped to recognize the problem, let alone able to defend against it, there is little chance of recovering.
an inspirational leader could rally the troops and bring people around, those that still remember what it means to be American. unfortunately, the corruption is so dark and deep, any such leaders are fearful for not only their lives, but the lives of their family... which gives them pause. i’ve never heard of a time in America when a person that wasn’t a declared candidate would have their family attacked... and our leaders don’t care about such personal attacks as they covert their own arse. similar treatment is metered out even to today’s town cryers... media personalities trying to wake people up. that’s how dark and deep the rot has set.
to be honest, i fear America is no longer my country
We must demolish not only Obamacare but also Medicare, Medicaid and the biggest demon: Social Security. Folks of my generation must right off the money paid into that as losses.
Small gov, low taxes and people learning to fend for themselves -- of course we must help the poor, but it should be personal charity, not gubmint. The Churches need to step back into their role

And it was planned from years back. Cultural erosion. It did not happen over night. If Obama is reelected, it will be fast tracked more quickly than anyone can imagine. Here’s a few reasons America failed.
When we didn’t beat people for burning the symbol of our national pride we only encouraged others to do so.
When our schools and universities hired radicals to teach our children that it was “cool” to kill their parents, God, and just laws were optional.

I don’t know who could’ve been responsible.
However, all is not lost. I truly believe this Country was and is blessed by God. Look at our history starting with the American Revolution. We overcame what should have been insurmountable forces to gain our independence.
We again faced great challenges in the War of 1812 and once again prevailed. Washington, DC was actually burned by British forces during that conflict.
Fast forward to December 7, 1941. Most our Pacific Fleet destroyed. Yet a mere 6 months later at Midway we turned things around, and eventually went on to victory.
Now our Country is facing another great challenge. With Gods help we will again prevail. We just need to roll up our sleeves, band together and get to work. Despair, surrender and complacency are not options.
A large part of the reason, America rebounded from Pearl Harbor was America was an industrial powerhouse, with the world’s greated manufacturing base.
Now it’s in China.
And a lot of “conservatives” are just hunky dory with that.
