Cop's Testimony About Michael Brown Shooting Has Ferguson Worried He'll Walk Free

It's beginning to look like Ferguson, Missouri might be the scene of yet more horrific riots as word has leaked out about Officer Darren Wilson's grand jury testimony in the Michael Brown shooting investigation. Wilson reportedly testified that he was trying to leave his car to question Brown and his friend as they walked in the middle of the street, but Brown pushed him back into his police car. He then, according to Wilson, pinned him, scratched him repeatedly, and hit his face and neck and tried to take his gun. At this point, Wilson says he shot Brown twice because he was in fear for his life. Brown's blood was reportedly found inside the police car and forensic tests reportedly confirm the gun was shot twice inside the vehicle.

However, critics are pointing out that a huge part of the story is missing -- such as why Brown was then shot four more times outside of the car. And why, as witnesses have claimed, Brown had his hands up in surrender.

Reportedly, government officials have said privately that so far the evidence doesn't indicate that Wilson violated Brown's civil rights.

This leaves many worried that Wilson will be free to walk away from what happened. And given how people reacted to the shooting, Wilson going free is bound to bring more violence to the area. In fact, a Ferguson resident and activist told CNN that if Wilson walks free, "St. Louis [where Wilson is from] will burn."

Dorian Johnson, who was walking with Brown when they were confronted by Wilson, told CNN that when the officer pulled up and told them to get on the sidewalk, he threw his door open so close to them that it hit Brown....

Why is anybody “worried” about an innocent man walking free?

I think the DOJ has pulled a Pontius Pilate on this case and it is in the hands of St. Louis County to carry the ball the rest of the way. I believe Dorian Johnson was brought forth to the Grand Jury and told the truth in exchange for not being charged with some crime, perhaps Murder Second Degree if he helped assault Wilson.

“Forensics mean nothing to barbarians”

I disagree. In fact I think you are insulting the Barbarians of old.
The problem here is the simple fact that we are dealing with a minority population that is less than 600 years out of the stone age and a large portion of that minority has been dumbed back down to where they were four or five hundred years ago.
Forensics and/or facts do not even make sense to these people, they are ruled by their emotions and their leaders play on those emotions..
Go ahead and call me racist, but the facts are pretty indisputable.

Personally, I don’t see how George deals with this nightmare at all. None of this underground, torturous way of living should be happening in this country. The entire scope of what is possible and likely to happen in this country, all the parameters have been changed under Eric Holder and Barack Obama.

The filmmaker who was blamed for Bengazi, being led out of his home in the dead of night and locked up before an election. Stunning in it’s phoniness and illegality. If this sort of abduction on trumped up charges occurred before, via Presidential prompts, I’m not aware of it.

He should walk free if he didn’t commit a crime.

Where, by the way, are the police unions on this? Why aren’t they taking a public stand for one of their own? Too scared of Obamugabe?

Wilson is most likely a member of the FOP, which really does not get loud and involved unless his employer tries to railroad him. I suspect he is retaining the FOP attorney and his own criminal defense attorney.

It’s all going his way right now so no need to draw attention.

The police in St. Louis don’t have the powerful unions like on the East Coast.

Did Dorian Johnson recant his “hands in the air” testimony?

The reason he was shot four more times... the first two shots hit him in the hands and didn’t stop him.

There was a thread on FR earlier today just like this.

It had a different blog, different author, yet the ‘article’ was almost letter for letter the same.

Coincidence ?

Didn’t the wounds on Brown’s arms mentioned in the autopsy report show that his arms were NOT up when he was shot?

The toxicology report is completely done and kept under lock and key. They’ve yet to talk about it. When they lay this out and the guy had potentially two different drugs in his system and both were hindering his ability to act rational....then the show is over. It’ll be hard for a jury to convict the cop because the kid was so doped up.

And maybe the parents will quit acting like they were wonderful parents. The kid had to live with his grandmother.

My guess is that the father has been there for him more since the cameras are rolling than he was when he was alive. The father seems a bit theatrical. He’s probably thinking lawsuit lottery.

IF Darren Wilson is guilty he should go to jail or worse.

IF Darren Wilson is innocent he should walk.

How is that for simplicity.

I have heard that his representation is from union lawyers. That is why they pay the dues...for their defense if needed.
