Rush Limbaugh today said hes not surprised to already see conservatives coming up with all kinds of creative reasons to disqualify Ted Cruz from the presidency. He particularly focused on a point made on Fox yesterday by Charles Krauthammer, that Cruz has the same amount of experience President Obama did when he announced for the presidency and that didnt turn out terribly well.
Limbaugh first brought up how The Five dumped all over Cruz and said, Thats somewhat understandable for reasons I cant explain. But then he played Krauthammers comments and found it a little ridiculous for anyone on the right to compare Cruz to Obama.
If Obama had run a state, Limbaugh asked, or if Obama had been in the Senate longer, hed have been okay?
He argued ideology is a bigger problem of Obamas than lack of pre-presidency political experience and lamented how wrong-headed the conservative criticism of Cruz is getting.

Just curious, 2nd: are you pro or anti Cruz? Asking because I respect your opinion.
They are terrified of him.
How can a Conservative be ‘anti’ Cruz?
I’m at the early stages of raising $2 million dollars for his campaign and will phone and go door-to-door (if I’m physically able to) for him. Hope that answers your question. I worked for Presidents Carter and Reagan as a young intelligence analyst. This man is as close to President Ronald Reagan as we’re going to see in our lifetimes.
I want to organize for my state (Colorado). Can you give advice on how a Cruz supporter can get started rallying the troops in their state?
Let me get with the Cruz team and ask them.
I agree with Rush on this. The problem with Obama has nothing to do with experience. The idea that had he just been more experienced that some how he would have did anything differently is stupid. The guy will have two terms under his belt running this country into the ground. He didn’t learn a damn thing the first term and has learned anything beyond the fact he can get away with almost any damned thing he pleases with a Republican Congress.
That's simple: if one believes that (a) The Constitution should be followed, and (b) that natural born citizen requires both parents being citizens at the time of birth and/or the birth occurring within the jurisdiction of the US*, and (c) be unwilling to disregard the constitution by voting for someone who you know/believe ineligible.

I’m not anti.
I just don’t like lawyers of any kind, especially ones from Ivy League schools.
That’s what I thought. Private mail me if you want help.
Thank you for posting this.
There could be a legal challenge, for certain and it should be ruled on. The sooner the better.
God bless you and those efforts....and I agree he’s the closest thing to Reagan since RR.....
If you are a CITIZEN - you do not have to be ‘naturalized’ - he IS a citizen, born of an American citizen mother. Period. End of discussion.
Did you see the Charles W. Cooke hitpiece on Cruz at NRO this AM?
FWIW, Cooke took a mauling in the comments section.
The current occupant of the Oval Office is not qualified or vetted to be president.
He would be rejected for school crossing guard.
It just baffles me why people can't grasp this.
Call your precinct chair - or become one if its vacant. This is VERY important in Texas because 25% of delegates will be chosen at State Convention.
Go to voter registration office and pull disc with voters from last three republican primary elections (most states have to release this at a nominal fee).
In your precinct, write a personal letter to republican primary voters. Explain you are a neighbor and not working directly for the campaign. You’re concerned about the trajectory of our nation and you believe that Sen. Cruz is the first straight shooter we’ve seen in a long time. Ask for their consideration of Sen. Cruz. Include his website. TedCruz.org
If you send out 25 letters a week, by primary time, you’ll have reached over 1000 republican primary voters. If 10% respond to your local, personal appeal, then you’ll have brought 100 Ted Cruz voters to your primary election.
That makes you a volunteer superstar.
Obama had enough of a resume to see which way the wind was blowing.
So does Cruz, and it's not blowing the same way as Obama.
If he ends up being the nominee, he'll get my vote without any lost sleep on my part.
