With the election coming, I ask those of you who wish to to join me in prayer for the election.

I am asking you all to lift up my dear cousin Richard "Dick" Mountjoy today. He is the Republican canidate for US Senate against Dianne Feinstein. He is a true believer and has not had any support from the Republican party because he is too conservative and to the right. Our Governor , Arnold S, has really not endorsed him at all. It is a uphill battle. Please pray for our voters in California this day. Here is Dicks' website. He is so OPENLY Christian that people are shying away from him.

Lord, help those who vote today to distinguish between good and bad, even as they are told the bad is good and the good is wicked.

Help us choose wisely, and may the will of the Father be done.

O Lord, we live in an era where those who supposedly follow you tell us your word is not what you said, and use you as an excuse to do what they will.

Help us, to hear the truth and act upon it, this election day and always,

"And another thing. I (and not my husband) was asked if I wanted to participate in an exit poll for "the major networks". The questions were more about WHY I voted the way I did than WHOM I voted for. As expected, the liberal slant was definitely there: 6 questions (rephrased) about how the war in Iraq affected my vote and only 1 about whether or not terrorism was a factor. I suspect I was targeted b/c I look more liberal than my husband. Exit pollers definitely are profiling:

I saw 6 other women being polled and only 1 guy (who happened to look like a UA student). Middle aged males who looked businesslike were avoided."
