Were Dinosaurs on Noah’s Ark? (yes)

So, Were Dinosaurs on the Ark?

In Genesis 6:19–20, the Bible says that two of every sort of land vertebrate (seven of the “clean” animals) were brought by God to the Ark. Therefore, dinosaurs (land vertebrates) were represented on the Ark. How Did Those Huge Dinosaurs Fit on the Ark?

Although there are about 668 names of dinosaurs, there are perhaps only 55 different “kinds” of dinosaurs. Furthermore, not all dinosaurs were huge like the brachiosaurus, and even those dinosaurs on the Ark were probably “teenagers” or young adults.

The young earth position actually has much better standing because there are people who have written about it saying God told them how it happened.

So if someone has a book that they state was divinely inspired and/or authored, that should by definition trump observable reality? Or do you just think your own interpretation of your own divinely inspired and/or authored book has that position?

For example, if a Hindu holy text states that the earth sits atop an elephant, which stands atop a turtle, should India base its space program upon that belief rather than the observable data obtained through the scientific process?

You could call them liars, as you have, but that doesn’t mean they’re liars.

I've called no one a liar, I have simply requested that you not attempt to pass your own interpretation of your own holy text as being based upon observable facts or the scientific process.

Your position has nothing to go off except some rock in a lab that magically tell you how old they are.

You may have attended college, but its pretty clear you weren't paying attention in any of the relevant classes. Astronomy, cosmology, biology, archeology, and geology all cofirm that the earth and the univers are far, far older than a few thousand years. Do you dispute that?

I guess God is stupid. Or, maybe not. Maybe He trusted Noah to just take dinosaur eggs or baby dinosaurs.

Pro 17:28 Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips [is esteemed] a man of understanding.

The Bible, having been written by God, is unassailable.

LOL... you're a whole new kind of stupid.

By the young earth assumption there are trillions of stars all within 6000 light years. That would be one hot and crowded sky :)

That assumes that the speed of light
has always been the same as it is today.

There is empirical evidence that it has
slowed down on a steeply declining curve
and is now asymptotic.

Yes, those sciences are incapable of proving what you assert.

Plenty of people claim to heart God speaking to them. Maybe some of them are right, but there's no way to distinguish such people from the ones that are lying or suffering from a mental illness.

Mohammed, after all, believed that God dictated the Koran to him.

Your position has nothing to go off except some rock in a lab that magically tell you how old they are.

It's amazing how many creationists are willing to dismiss and belittle the the fruits of Western scientific progress.

Can you tell me why, without resorting to a supernatural explanation?

Really!? Whoever has that evidence should make it public and start collecting Nobel Prizes. After all, such "empirical evidence" would overturn nearly every single aspect of modern physics, not to mention disproving Einstein's Relativity theories, which have been confirmed through nearly a century of experimental observation!

Because I believe the Bible?

Mat 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Jhn 16:3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

What would happen to "m"
if "c" increases to infinity in E=mc**2 ?

I think mass approaches zero.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe you stated that there was “empirical evidence” that the speed of light had “slowed down on a steeply declining curve and is now asymptotic.”

What you posted is most definitely not “empirical evidence,” and in no way demonstrates that the speed of light has slowed.

Barry Setterfield! That’s even further from “empirical evidence” than your earlier post, because rather than a complete lack of evidence, he offers mathmatical errors, sloppy calculations, outright lies, and fudged conclusions.

No, because you believe things that are totally absurd, due to an unwillingness to 'understand' the bible.

With modern power tools it took over 300 man-years of labor to build each of the Ark 'replicas'.
