I know about both deals. This one is a political payoff to Soros, and his little band of thieves. All of the downside is covered by the FDIC, NOT a “shared loss” agreement.The only “shared loss” is AFTER the disposition of non-performing assets, and even here, it is not 50/50. Several of my friends are high level bankers, or own banks.
