Hundreds of tourists have been evacuated from Warwick Castle after a burning cannonball fired from the world's largest working siege machine destroyed a medieval boathouse by fire.

Just for clarity:
The Trebuchet is sat on an island and faces 90 degrees away from the castle. With most of the castle behind it. :)

The boathouse is halfway down the range and to the right. It was only a matter of time.

Oh, no! I love the peacocks at Warwick Castle. The rest of it was rather grim, especially if you read about Warwick in the War of the Roses.
