His articulation is actually very good - he uses the typical strong enunciation that has been passed onto all born and bred 20th century New Yorkers from the Jewish community. For those of us who love New York and have a strong affection for the New York accent, his voice is perfect.

If he sounded any different he’d be a RINO and a loser.

Stupid! Donald Trump is an AMERICAN, not a Brit. He connects with Americans because he sounds like an American and expresses himself in language the average American can understand. A Brit accent would not fit his image, AND would be far too insulting for many who are sick and tired of the British incursion into our news scene......like me!
The British accent may be considered by some to be “sophisticated,” but I consider sophistication to be the condition of a person’s knowledge....and a lot of that knowledge comes from interacting in the real world, not simply being derived from books.
Besides, many British English words have different meanings in American English. Why does the Oxford Dictionary differ from the Webster Dictionary ? Why should an American adapt a British accent? It would be a VERY STUPID move.

It might be considered the trans-Atlantic accent that was popularized in American stage and film during the 40’s.

Something else the establishment and their minions are just beginning to grasp, we are sick of empty long winded lawyerly “eloquence”. Simple common sense speak is sorely overdue.

You are absolutely correct. Let’s hope Trump’s “conversations” with thousands of people in his rally is a trend we’ll see in future campaigns.

As voters and taxpayers we deserve plain talk.

That’s what I love about Trump, he gets right to essence of an issue, right to the root of a problem and states the obvious of how it can be solved, and he’s absolutely fearless to state it. This is EXACTLY the kind of guy we need in the White house right at this moment. This politically correct nonsense has gotten so bad today that people are afraid to even say “Christmas”. Like Trump said, the stupid are running things and it’s time for them to go, enough is enough.

Which would be fine if they didn't have the actual authority to punish and/or harass you for not being stupid, too!
