I joined during the 2000 election endless recount circus. And it looks like we’re in for another chaotic mess of an election this year.

1996 here. Date of signing says 1997, but there was some sort of glitch with the FR server back then, and lots of us got moved up to ‘97.

I do think that there were many great thinkers and doers among the founders in addition to Locke and Paine. Those founding fathers had to be both geniuses, and feisty

FR is probability where I spend 90% of my time on the interwebs. It’s been my online home all his time.
How I found FR is lost in the mists of legend. Could have been Rush, Drudge, or perhaps even “TheForce.net” forums which I used to frequent back then.
Out of curiosity I just checked, and I’m still registered there. My last post was Dec 17, 2000, four days after Al Gore conceded the election, and five days after I registered on FR.
Looks like a figured out where I belonged.
