I joined during the 2000 election endless recount circus. And it looks like we’re in for another chaotic mess of an election this year.

Let’s see how many 20+ FR veterans I can get to respond!

WhooHoo. I joined 10/10/2000. But I began lurking before the house impeached Clinton. FR got me through impeachment and many other things such as the 2000 recount.

how to type so had to learn that and Html and all
kinds of stuff.

Ah the good old days, when people didn’t close their tags

For me, it will be twenty years on November 17. A friend of mine, Mollie Ziegler—now Mollie Hemingway—told me there was this place called Free Republic, and a lot of people there were using a song I had written about the election called “The Palm Beach Pokey.”
