I've never posted a straight Vanity before.
But I am sick and tired of this good conservative, generally religious site being overrun by people posting "I'd hit it", whenever a picture of a good-looking girl is displayed.
It's demeaning, it's immoral, and I guess I'm just a prude but announcing to the world that you'd like to have sex with a woman based on her picture, like she was some object, hardly seems like the appropriate attitude on a conservative political site.
But rather than post in response to any particular person, I figured I'd just vent here where everybody could see and make fun of me.
So go ahead. I thank you for whatever indulgence you have given me in this rant.
Back to your regularly scheduled oggling and hitting.

On the way! I’ll expect a loaf of chocolate-chip banana bread in about an hour!

He had an alarming habit of jumping up onto the tops of doors in the house. He would hang up there, his haunches on top of the door and his front paws braced against the surface of the door, until some unsuspecting soul walked underneath. Then he would drop on your shoulders with an unearthly screech. I think he thought he was a jaguar in the jungles of Brazil.
I had to lock him up when company came, unless they were VERY tolerant and thought his antics amusing.
On the other hand, it was his MOTHER the six-pound little Blue Point who stole an entire chicken out of the roasting pan and dragged it off to hide it under the living room sofa where (as she thought) she could enjoy it in peace.
Problem was the chicken was too big (or the sofa too low), so I walked into the living room to see this apparently possessed dead chicken jerking and waving its poor little bare wings around as Avi tried to yank it under the sofa by main force.
It was taken away, washed, and cooked for supper. And no, she didn't get any. (I ate the drumstick with the fang marks on it. Nobody else wanted it.)
Banana bread is always the fate of gross bananas around here. I will have to try the chocolate chips, my recipe calls for pecans but I usually leave them out because hubby is allergic to most tree nuts (but not ground nuts like peanuts). About what amount of chips for 2 standard loaves?
I'm about to try a recipe for raspberry turnovers that I got off the King Arthur Flour website. Have to go to the store to get sour cream for it, but it sure reads like it's going to be worth it . . . . .
Seems a bit manic for a bunneh! I have a friend who does rescue bunnehs and they all are rather quiet and not terribly active.

Friend of mine had a tabby that would leap from the floor onto my shoulders.
From that ‘lofty’ perch she’d glare at everyone with this haughty sneer.
Several times I ended up staying late because she would not get off until she was ready and everyone was thoroughly glared upon.
Rabbit at my job site would leap like that.
Only he meant it as an intimidation move rather than a “I’m happy” move.
I kinda miss that psychotic cottontail.
I’ve seen cottontails act like that.
(One in particular that hated me with a passion because I disturbed him while he was getting his girl ‘in the moood with his slick moves’. I called him Killer Bunny.)
Usually rabbits won’t act like that unlesss they feel real safe and happy.
Then, lookout.
Psycho-flop-eared bullet leap at everything in sight.
Bit sad in a way.
In Connecticut. We head home Monday.
Half cup of chocolate chips per loaf. Raspberry is good with chocolate, too!
Messy but good. Not very neatly made, of course there's a trick to it. Dough has to be cold (my kitchen is HOT right now) and the filling has to be placed just right.
They taste fine, though.
The opposite problem from trying to get bread to rise. Maybe I'll make focaccia today - been meaning to for months!

Sounds good! I walked two miles with one of the African ladies from up the street. She was quite fast, wore me out!

I agree with you...it goes along with the ..thankfully , rare...threads of pictures of women in degrading, soft pron photos.
I am not a prude, but the 6th grade humor is offensive. On the one hand, I see threads of moral outrage and sanctimonious Christian “better than thou” posts....then you get these totally ridiculous “I’d hit it” comments and really gross anti-homosexual comments.
Talk about hypocrisy!
I think those posters aren’t “ getting their needs met” anywhere or are stuck in the teenage Playboy mindset.
I am sure your thread will not deter “boys will be boys”,
however, I wish they would just go to a site where they can have all the fun they want to and more.
I am sure I will get angry flaming...go for it.
