Like the true gentleman he is, The Welshman from the Liberty Sphere CLICK LINK HERE comes to the aid of a lady in distress. Kudos to him!

There is something squirrely about the whole Glenn Beck phenomenon and it maybe time to examine this so- called conservative who sheds crocodile tears on Television and surrounds himself with a radio pack of wannabe Howard Stern Hyenas.

There are some very good arguments,

So she's saying some of what the Truthers say has validity? Which stuff? That fire doesn't melt steel? That the planes were UAV's controlled by the Pentagon? The Pentagon was hit by our own missile and not a plane? That a fifth aircraft was involved but it and all the passengers disappeared somewhere in Illinois(?) as part of the coverup? That building seven was prewired for demolition and we blew it up ourselves? Or that the north and south towers also were brought down by explosives but the airplanes were just holograms?

and I think the American people have not seen all of the evidence there.

Evidence of what? Any of the above?

So I've not taken a position on that.

How can you not have a position on it? It's not an issue you can sit on the fence with. You either are or are not a Truther. It's either Yes or No.

Asking somebody if they are a 9/11 truther and having the person not answer the yes or no question is not a “political mob hit”. I do not see how Beck could have been more fair. Do you think he should have sent her a list of the questions he was going to ask so she would not make herself look dumb? You sound like the Obama people who were mad at “Joe the Plumber” for asking a question that made their guy look bad. Candidate Medina came off as an indecisive at best or a 9/11 truther nut-job at worst. She screwed herself over. Even if she is not a 9/11 truther, the way she handled this question was not up to the standard that I expect from my Governor. I don’t think the “old guard GOP” set this up to “get” Medina, unless you think asking a candidate a very simple question is “realeasing the dogs on her”. It seems that conspiracies are everywhere for folks who are determined to see them.

"It's a 'my Muslim faith' and '57 states' moment for Debra. Texas voters are fortunate to know where she stands - those voters that didn't already know.

A lot of us knew where she stood before all of this. Medina was never going to get my vote.

I'm no big fan of Rick Perry's, but our state has been weathering these Obama-times pretty well and I'm going to stick with the devil I know.

She must have been listening to some truthers. With their words echoing in her ears, she equivocated.

I have already stated that FDR’s role in Pearl Harbor is not proven. However, my father was an intelligent, contemporary observer of the people and events of that conflict, and his sense of the direct culpability of FDR in deliberately starting the war with Japan is completely consistent with other behaviors of FDR during the period. See http://hnn.us/articles/89.html

Therefore, there is plausibility, and that should at least have the effect of entering the debate with caution rather than bravado.

I don’t agree with you on that.

Glenn rejected her bottom line - she is for the constitution and has not investigated the truther thingy. She is building power for the constituion. That is the center of our movement.

Beck...he’s an O’Loser follower lately. All that should matter to Beck, based on his shows, is people who are for restoring the constitution - no matter if they think the sky is blue or green. Instead, he plays petty stupid Rino divide and conquer constituional “wackos” guy. Cute. Stupid. Loser.

Everyone expected the attack on the Phillipines as part of the advance to South East Asia. No one seems to have expected the raid on Pearl, or for it to have had the success it did. If we had had our planes in the air, it would not been as destructive.

Why blame Beck for a blunder on her part? I was amazed by her answer. And he gave her a chance to change it. She would not. I know the Paul people hate the war; I did not guess that they might be into this kind of thing.

It’s the Paulbots that are pushing Medina, not Tea Party supporters.

I don't care how right Ron Paul may be on economic matters, when he is so dead wrong on national security issues. You can survive losing your job. You can't survive a terrorist crashing a plane into your office.

And even worse are these Alex Jones douchebags on that YouTube clip. Don't these fools realize that Jones is just playing them for suckers to sell his garbage? He is a twit.

Medina issued a clarification stating that she obviously does not believe that our government was involved in 9/11...she was just making the point that citizens have a right to question our government.

There are a lot of truthers who also support the constitution in Texas. I am not surprised she straddled the fence on that. She’s focused on the prize. Beck is focused on O’stupid.

I heard part of this interview live this morning, Glenn Beck was not at his best.

YOU were not at your best, or were not sober if you thought Glenn did a damn thing wrong. Medina is a moron, or a truther. Either way, 5 of my 14 TX relatives who were going to vote for her, now tell me they will not.

The American Firsters were not pacifists, but isolationists. Bob Taft never did give up his Fortress America mindset.

First let me say I am not a Beck devotee. But, he has done some great work lately.

I sincerely appreciate his work today.

Ms. Medina had every chance to work her way out of the situation.

No use to shoot the messenger.

Yep. Agree. Probably only the tip of the iceberg.

I didn’t know Medina was a truther, but there are plenty of other red flags which I’ve posted about since she threw her sombrero into the ring:

For starters look up Debra Medina’s column ‘Latinos and the GOP’

‘It’s a shame isn’t it, that Republicans continue to ignore Hispanics especially here in Texas?’ Debra Medina

‘Ignore them’, Mrs Medina? Since when? What more do you want? Or shouldn’t we ask?

Medina ad:

“Who is going to think more about Latino families? Rick Perry, Kay Bailey Hutchison or me, who has a Latino family?” (Medina’s cultural heritage is German and Bohemian.)

She told a colleague last month in an e-mail. “Being married, however, to someone with a Mexican American heritage, I certainly embrace the culture.” But before she explained that, she told my colleage, who had asked her whether she considers herself Latina: “I’d not consider myself anything other than a wife and mother, a nurse and a patriot. I believe we too often get into race when it’s immaterial.”

No, Thanks, Mrs Medina.

She is also running Spanish ads. Hello Mrs.Medina! If they cannot speak English then they have no business voting IMO. When they learn English then let them vote. Assimilate. Learn English. Appreciate all America gives you.

So I’m sure she is blowing a lot of hot air just like Obama did just to get elected. Running those ads and saying what she has, tells me the border issue is just a try to get votes for herself.

Medina is about as qualified to be Governor as zero was to be President- want to re-visit how that is working out? She’s a Libertarian running on the Republican ticket. She is supported by the Ron Paul worship crowd and she herself has acted in the Ron Paul worship capacity. She has demonstrated a lack of knowledge about Texas law and current ballot initiatives.

No, thanks, I’ll stick with ‘ol RINO Perry. Texas has remained in better shape than almost any if not all of the states in the union under Perry’s watch. As someone said, ‘he’s the devil we know’.

The motly crew running for governor is laughable; a MUSLIM, a trecherous RINO woman* (Hutchison) and a woman with questionable loyalties

*Feds Have Built Only 32 Miles of 700 Mile Double-Border Fence Originally Mandated by Congress “One reason DHS has been able to do this is an amendment that Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R.-Texas) slipped into an omnibus appropriations bill that Congress passed on December 18, 2007. Hutchison’s amendment put a loophole in the fence law that allowed the secretary of Homeland Security not to build the fence Congress had mandated the year before.”
