Russian heat wave due to dramatic changes in solar activity

This year Russia was hit by a record-breaking heat wave that led to wildfires which killed dozens and left thousands homeless. Weather forecaster Piers Corbyn says this is a result of weather cycles, not global warming.
What we have is a tremendous amount of activity on the sun and that affects the rush of particles from the sun to the earth and that changes the ionosphere and that also changes the circulation patterns of the globe in what is known as the jet stream, Corbyn explained. And that caused a shifting of the weather patterns so the south wind in Western Russia terminated and instead we got a northwestern flow of thunderstorms and cooling.

Imagine that the sun actually has something to do with heatwaves on earth...

You mean ? the Leftist scientist were wrong all along ? Climate change has nothing to do with anything man has done to this earth ? .
I guess we will hear from the SOLAR ACTIVITY deniers...

I guess the senseless, brain dead liberals won't be convinced unless the Earth was engulfed totally by the sun.

Somebody busted him in the nose once in his life judging by his photos. Looks like it in this one, too. I wonder who did it?

Nope. It’s that secret American global warming weapon, based in Alaska. Only way you can explain excessive heat in Siberia.

Watched the interview, and I am not a believer in Global Warming, but he has not correctly described recent solar activity. It has not been very strong. Recent activity was about average or just below average. We had 12 days with no sunspots in May. We had 15 days with no sunspots in April. June and July saw some activity, but daily sunspot counts averaged below 25 in June and at or below 25 in July. Strong activity occurs with over 70-80 sunspots. We were no where close to that. We did start August strong with an average close to 50, but we had 0 sunspots the past two days and the average is being pulled down. So his claim that we had strong activity, is flat out wrong. We had low to average activity. Just check it
here.
Note he makes no claim for winter yet. Says he has no clue. The monthly atmospheric extremes are easily explained by El Nino and La Nina cycles. There is a lag of about 6 months. We do not know what causes those cycles and we are currently in a strong La Nina. The year to year seasonal extremes are explained by long term solar activity. If you add the 6 month delay, we are rolling into winter with a strong La Nina, which means Atmospheric Cooling, and a long term weak to below average solar activity trend. Gonna be wickedly cold this winter. Nothing can stop that now. IMHO.

This bit of knowledge was known before the heat wave. The media chose to suppress it so they would be able to crow about “man made global warming.”

We did start August strong
Should read
We did start August stronger
