Palin, Beck, Tea Party are not responsible for Giffords shooting
examiner.com ^ | 1/8/2011 | Joe Newby

Let's get one thing straight.

Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh and the Tea Party are not responsible for the shooting of Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

In fact, the only person responsible is the nut who allegedly pulled the trigger. "Alleged", because that person is now in police custody awaiting trial, and in this country a person is innocent until proven guilty.

Unless you happen to be a conservative who disagrees with Barack Obama.

Liberal media pundits are turning themselves inside out blaming everyone to the right of Joseph Stalin, just as they did after the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.

Keith Olbermann attacked everyone at Fox News, and demanded Beck apologize for his rhetoric.

A reporter at CNN laid the blame at Sarah Palin for rhetoric that "allowed this kind of thing to happen."

Ignoring the entire eight years of the Bush Presidency, Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post made the ludicrous claim that "violent" rhetoric comes exclusively from the right.

Paul Krugman tried to lay the blame on Sarah Palin and her use of a target graphic.

A CBS report furthers the lunatic idea that Palin is responsible for the shooting because of the image of a target.

The Associated Press did the same thing, according to a post at Newsbusters.

Instead of looking at the background of the alleged shooter, the Democrat-media complex is hell bent on demonizing any critic of any Democrat as being responsible somehow for the tragedy in Arizona. According to the left, anyone who watches Fox News had a hand in the shooting.

Palin, Beck, TEA Party are not responsible for Gifford's shooting

That is stating the obvious. There are two appropriate responses to the baseless, ridiculous charges of the left: Ignore 'em, or mock 'em. Responding with anger or frustration only encourages 'em. We have bigger fish to fry. In the meantime, just sit back and allow the barking moonbats to make complete asses of themselves.

The shooter was a liberal/democrat.But the mainstream media lies and says that Conservatives like Palin and Beck made this liberal shoot these people. These are actions of pure evil by the democrat media. The democrat mainstream is lying. The media is lying to destroy Palin, conservatives, and freedom of speech by just shouting evil lies from a trillion media outlets.

As I've said before the democrat mainstream media is the center of evil in the world. Can anyone agree with me now as they see how they are lying now? This is no surprise as all marxist/democrats are evil.

It’s disgusting that these leftists are exploiting the victims of this communist to attempt to thwart the political success the tea party, Sarah Palin, etc., are having against them.

Yes, but two of the other books in that list are Animal Farm and We the Living. I think this guy was just a nut, who likely didn’t identify with either side of the aisle.

That statement is as ridiculous as blaming Sarah Palin’s use of surveyor symbols on a map for these shootings.

Two things come to mind, one Rahm Emanual said never let a good crisis go to waste and two TWA 800 in 1996. Now Congress is holding up Health Care Repeal.

If Olbermann and Company want reasonable dialog, they can start by toning down their own hateful rhetoric.

Olbermann and co. should have been yanked off the air in 2003, as soon as they started spouting Al Qaeda propaganda when our troops were in harm's way in Iraq.

There is historical precedent for doing just that: FDR and Truman did not tolerate dissemination of enemy propaganda during WW2 and Korea, and Lincoln threw congressman and reporters with Confederate sympathies in jail.

Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post made the ludicrous claim that “violent” rhetoric comes exclusively from the right.

I was trying to find a video of this on YouTube with no luck, but in 1998 on the Conan O'Brien show, Alec Baldwin said the following about those who voted to impeach slick willie clinton:

Baldwin: “...we would all, right now, all of us together…would go down to Washington and stone Henry Hyde (leader of the Clinton impeachment effort) to death! … We would go to their homes and we’d kill their wives and children. We would kill their families.”

Not a lot of "nuance" there. But yet; they claim that those of us on the right have a monopoly on violent rhetoric. I guess holding our elected officials responsible for adhering to the constitution is considered "violent rhetoric".

I agree—and this will demonstrate clearly what Krauthammer, Perriino and Will stand for. I hope we are not disappointed—again—for the 1000th time.
