I’m looking forward to the debate. I think it will showcase each guys’ strengths.

Cain and Newt have known each other very well for years and years via many Georgia connections, including the Neil Boortz radio show, where they are both frequent guests and have even guest-hosted. (Cain had his own night time talk show.) Cain and Newt both believe they know the minds of the other man like their own hands. Both believe they have nothing to fear, nothing to lose, and only positive press to gain for a real brain tester, instead of the typical MSM-hosted pseudo debates we’ve seen so far.

Just my dos centavos.

Cain and Gingrich are fans of each other and have a long Georgia past they share.

I don't really see a downside for either. They'll be respectful towards each other. I think this is brilliant publicity for the both of them.

The key word is “respectful”. If Newts arrogance begins to come out, it will look bad for Newt.

You do not win the Presidency by hiding from the voters.

What does Cain have to gain?

Credibility and respect that he is not afraid to debate anyone respectful enough to enter an exchange in a dialogue of ideas. As said before, the two of them could elevate the overall debate and come away from this as the leaders by being adults rather than petulant children squabbling over who gets the next gold star.

This may spell the end for Cain, Newt has outperformed everyone in the debates so far.

Cain better take some No-Dose before the debate or Newt will put him and the audience to sleep.

Newt has outperformed everyone in the debates so far.

Newt is the master debater and any one of the candidates would lose IMO.

Is Cain going for broke possibly (VP slot)?

Oh, Herman.....man, I love ya, but you ain’t no Newt Gingrich when it comes to debating. Debate Romney or Perry or Obama. Them you’d eviscerate. Not Newt.

I'm of the mind this debate will set a fresh tone..hopefully...for how debates should go. But this is certainly the way to go to center stage Cain and Newt as the leaders against the media darlings tit for tat with Perry and Romney.

Good move on both Cain and Newts part....wisdom says it well.

Are you going? I heard that it isn’t going to be televised and they are charging like it’s a fundraiser, complete with VIP packages and photo-ops. Sounds about as real as pro-wrestling. Cain and Gingrich are in cahoots already. This is a phony debate.
