Paul Ryan no help to Mitt Romney with Hispanics
Politico.com ^ | By EMILY SCHULTHEIS and ALEXANDER BURNS

Mitt Romney is on track to lose the Latino vote by a wider margin than any Republican presidential candidate in over a decade, and strategists in both parties say he may have made a bad situation worse with his selection of Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan as his running mate.

What’s clear is that Romney’s lagging fortunes among Hispanics are unlikely to receive any boost from choosing a vice presidential candidate who has voted in Congress against the DREAM Act and supports overhauling entitlement programs that are extremely popular among Latino voters.

The Republican ticket’s dire position among Latinos has even stirred some hope among Democrats — and apprehension among some Republicans — that back-to-back smashing victories by President Barack Obama could move Latino voters in the Democratic column in a more durable way that could put the GOP at an electoral disadvantage for decades.

That’s an alarming prospect to GOP strategists who have seen their party driven to near extinction in states like California, where strident anti-immigration voices have turned the Latino vote away from Republicans, maybe for good. Even as Republicans have succeeded in electing more prominent Latino politicians, such as Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval and New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez, they continue to lose ground in the battle for Latino voters nationally.

"Waaaaaa! Waaaaaaa! We wanted Rubio!! We were pushing Rubio!! Jeb Bush said he wanted Rubio!! Romney didn't pick Jeb Bush's co-opted man!! Waaaaa! Waaaaa!"

I'm really enjoying these politico articles. You can almost see these people stomping their feet and holding their breath as they write.

BFD.

I understand American Jews will still support an anti-American Israel-hating racist pig fraud in November, too.

How come Politico and The Hill never publish articles critical of Obama and Liberals? As in:

Biden sucks so bad Insiders Fear He’s dragging down the ticket? Or,

Top Democrat Operatives Are Deeply Concerned That Obama’s New Policy Will Hurt Him with Voters in November. Or,

Operation Wall Sreet Activits Have Marxists Roots

How come we NEVER see such glaring headlines for Democrats? How come we only see such “insightful” articles with screaming headlines when it negatively impacts Republicans? Why is that?

Politico gives the strong impression that they are extremely biased toward the democrat party.

Of course we all know this not to be true.

Ya... everybody knows the Presidential election should be about race..... right?

Isn't ethnicity, skin color or gender what really matters in today's political climate?

Who cares about Ryan's stance on individual liberty? He is the wrong choice because he is white. I guess racist groups could forgive Ryan for being white if he was a nationalist socialist.

My hispanic car detailer picked up my car this morning and we had a ten minute conversation about how bad BO is.

He said his entire family is voting for R and R.

Politico made this up.

Hispanics will vote two to one for Dems regardless of who the VP nominee is. The gain for the Reps with Ryan is blue collar Dems, aka Reagan Democrats.

Yet we win Texas, Florida and Arizona overwhelmingly. Maybe the problem isn't courting Latino voters. The problem is California is filled with voters of all colors who love their government benefits.

I guess Rubio would have helped with the Latino vote. How much I can’t guess. As a non-latino living in Miami, I have the impression that Cubans are not overly popular with other Latinos(those from Central/South America and Mexico). Maybe some one else has a better understanding of this than I.

Maybe they should stamp an Obama bumper sticker across their foreheads.

The truly amazing thing is that dems like Harry Reid are never criticized for saying worse about ‘latino’s’ than Romney, Ryan or ANY republican ever did!

Harry Reid: illegal aliens “free loaders and scam artists”

OH! THE IRONY!
...

“Reid, now an impassioned champion of amnesty for 20 million illegal aliens in America, once called illegal aliens “free loaders and scam artists” which he proposed to deal with in his Immigration Stabilization Act in the United States Senate in 1993.
That proposed legislation was introduced to the floor of the US Senate with the following press release, in part, issued by Reid’s office on August 5, 1993.
“In response to increased terrorism and abuse of social programs by aliens, (I) today introduced the first and only comprehensive immigration reform bill in Congress. Currently, an alien living illegally in the United States often pays no taxes but receives unemployment, welfare, free medical care, and other federal benefits. Recent terrorist acts, including the World Trade Center bombing, have underscored the need to keep violent criminals out of the country.”

____________________________________________________________

Let me correct that for you:

Hispanics “ON WELFARE” will vote two to one for Dems regardless of who the VP nominee is. The gain for the Reps with Ryan is blue collar Dems, aka Reagan Democrats.

If the Hispanic vote hurts us it will be the illegal Hispanic vote that does us in. Over 40% of illegals draw welfare. How does this make any sense?

Hispanics as a group vote two to one for the Dems. That is just a fact. The numbers on welfare are far greater than 40%.

Because the vast majority of the presstitutes are communists.

No, they would have hated Rubio too.

What this shows is that it took them two days rewrite their, “Rubio won’t really help Romney win the latino vote” article to fit Paul Ryan.
