A group of illegal immigrants from the Phoenix area is headed to Los Angeles to be part of a rally urging Gov. Jerry Brown to sign a bill known as "The Trust Act."
The measure, passed by the California legislature last month, would limit the cooperation between state and local police and Immigration and Customs Enforcement. At a news conference outside the Arizona Capitol on Wednesday, some of those who are making the trip referred to The Trust Act as "the anti-SB 1070," referring to Arizona's immigration enforcement law. A provision of that law, which was just recently allowed to take effect following legal challenges, requires local police to check the immigration status of anyone they contact for any legitimate law-enforcement reason (such as a traffic stop or arrest) whom they suspect may in the US illegally.
The Trust Act was approved by California lawmakers on Aug. 24. Gov. Brown is facing an imminent deadline to sign or veto it, and has not publicly indicated which action he's likely to take.

Californians are fleeing in droves to live in better-managed states, according to a conservative research group.
The long-running exodus from the cash-strapped Golden State is an old story, but a new study by The Manhattan Institute finds that the biggest beneficiaries of the population drain are Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Idaho, Utah, Georgia and South Carolina. Lower cost of living, less government debt and a more business-friendly culture are the main drivers, according to the study.
"States that have gained the most at Californias expense are rated as having better business climates," the study concluded. "The data suggest that many cost drivers taxes, regulations, the high price of housing and commercial real estate, costly electricity, union power, and high labor costs are prompting businesses to locate outside California, thus helping to drive the exodus."

Comcast to Northern California: Drop dead.
That seemed to be the message communicated by the cable company's axing of 1,000 jobs in the Bay Area and Sacramento on Tuesday, a decision attributed to "the high cost of doing business in California."
http://www.sfgate.com/default/article/Comcast-rewinds-but-jobs-still-leaving-3897220.php The way things are going the only people left in calif will be illegals. They are driving away businesses.
Proof of just how dumb the illegal aliens are. What Moon Beam does in California doesn’t do anything for the bozos living in Phoenix. If he does sign it though, it could help Arizona if the illegals decide to stay in California to take advantage of the goofy “trust” thingy.
Anything?
Somebody out there should remind the the invaders of the rest of that phrase.
Trust but verify.
