Left convinced Americans will not fight for 2nd Amendment rights

Once cowed at the thought of provoking 2nd Amendment supporters, leftists will soon attempt to ban “assault weapons” (and much more) as legislation offered by Diane Feinstein makes its way to the Senate floor. It seems that DC liberals have finally become convinced that American gun owners are too cowardly, too lazy or too dependent upon the financial "generosity" of Big Brother to fight for their 2nd Amendment rights.

During the past 4 years, the gun banning left have watched as American buyers broke sales records in the purchase of semi-automatic rifles. Opting for these and other powerful, efficient weapons it is estimated that some 100 million private citizens are now in possession of over 300 million firearms. And these numbers continue to grow with each passing month.

Yet it’s against this backdrop of America’s determination to assert the fundamental permanence of 2nd Amendment guarantees that Diane Feinstein, Michael Bloomberg, Barack Obama and others will choose to implement gun bans, demand the federal registration of...

...they will just pick-off gun owners one-by-one, raiding one house at a time for those who don’t surrender.

That likely is what some on the Left are thinking. The ones who can do math know better.

In the US, there are about 300,000,000 firearms in the hands of about 100,000,000 Americans. There are guns in roughly half of all American households. Law enforcement will get no resistance at some of those homes, They will get into firefights at others. They will likely kill the gunowners in those encounters, but they will also take their own losses. If every 10th raid kills a cop, the Left will run out of officers before they run out of targets. And this assumes universal cooperation from local and State law enforcement. In many jurisdictions, the Federal gun confiscation authorities will run into resistance wearing badges.

And this also assumes that their potential targets don't go after them first. Even if only 10% of American gunowners violently resisted disarmament, that's 10,000,000 guerrilla fighters spread out across the country. Imagine how screwed we'd have been had there been 10,000,000 Al Qaeda and Taliban waiting for us in Afghanistan. Now imagine them here. Now imagine them with a large part of their number having had proper military training. Now imagine them with a large part of our own military and law enforcement in sympathy with their cause. Now the Left's math goes from bad to awful.

Now, of course, our real concern in all of this is the fact that so few Leftists in this country can even do the simple math required to balance a checkbook.

Beware, the communists have already claimed much of the American Government. I believe that the left in their effort to establish a communists dictatorship may have misjudged us.

And if another large shooting occurs...

If not already finished, that script is being written as we speak.

> There are only so many swat teams out there.

Yes, but unless the opposition is organized, not just armed, the swat teams will prevail, one gun owner at a time, or with multiple raids conducted on multiple gun-owners simultaneously. Either way, if the gun-owners remain isolated and unorganized, they will be easily crushed.

I am convinced the majority of those who are flooding the gun shows and paying a month’s wages for an semi AR or AK are just profiteers hoping to flip them for a tidy sum. Anyone who cared has already done their shopping and now is just waiting for the other shoe to fall.

[[Another obama healthcare, thats what they will do]]

That’s my feeling becajuse now they know they will NOT be stopped from violating our constitutionasl rights by the supreme court- john roberts let it be known loud and clear that the president can do anythign he wants because ‘if the peopel don’t liek it, then they shouldn’t have voted for him’ essentially- roberts FAILED to uphold the constitution, THEN turned aroudn and blamed in on America! The left IS goign to run with this

Lindsay Rhino Hraham just came out and said ‘The pres has indicated that this secodn term is goign to be an ‘in your face’ term’ and he’s exactly right- the left is goign to htrow EVERYTHING at the right and at citizens- I’ve said it right along- if dear leader was elected for another term he was goign to pukll out all the stops and unleash unholy hell upon this nation

And my advice to them is to be VERY careful what you wish for.

In a time of lawlessness, practicers of the law and law makers themselves are useless.

Organizing such an event would be the problem. Wouldn’t it be awesome though, (Hypothetically dreaming), For tens of thousands of gun owners to surround the beltway, blocking all means of exit, while tens of thousands of others work their way to the capitol. Even if they escaped by way of the secret tunnels, they wouldn’t be able to get passed the road blocks.

Either that or idiots hoping to ‘sell them back to hte govenremnt in a government ‘buy back’ program’ where the gov will give them ‘up to $200 dollars per gun’

Yeah, they will take a loss per gun, but if they buy in large enough bulk, they’ll make up for the loss’ (Just an old joke folks-)

You’re prbably right though- and I wouldn’t be one bit surprised IF thsoe buyign up the guns aren’t infact anti-gun liberals hoping to profuit off of gun owners

My take is that small cells is the most viable way for resistance to survive. On the political front - a large group with strong leadership is desired. But they have to remain apart from more active resistance.

I think the Sinn Fein and IRA model works. The TEA Party can act as Sinn Fein.

The leadership of the IRA was not well known, and a rigid structure would have been rolled-up a lot easier.

That is not the case at all. Only when organized would the government have any chance at harming a resistance group.

We need to stop playing defense and force the GOP to go on the offense on multiple fronts and force them to lose control.

1) Allow all CCW holders direct shipments of firearms, since they have already passed State and Federal background checks. OK, a sop would be to still fill out the 4473 to send in with the order (for now - small steps, small steps). Granted, some gun dealers would be against it because of the loss of their $25 "handing fee" - and some states, because of the lost "fee" for running the checks, but "into each like a little rain . . ."

2) Allow all CCW holders to buy handguns in any state since, as above, they have passed all checks.

Those two proposals ought to have the libs running around like the proverbial headless chicken.

Ask your Congressman and Senator to sponsor/support these bills - even the antis, just to raise their blood pressure.

Do the anti-gun leftists in Congress realize that they are high on the target list when the SHTF? Perhaps they need to be reminded!

They make the mistaken assumption that our current silence, in a political venue is an indication we won’t fight, our politicians won’t fight.

I know in my heart both my Senators will vote for some sort of capitulation. They are and have always been effing RINOS. However, my Georgia Republican Congressmen are not, and they will stand resolute - they had damned well better! I’ve already told my Congressman that if he EVER saw one litumus test for getting re-elected, this is IT!

So, the Senate will cave and my guess is the Congress won’t. Pelosi can suck it.

If it doesn’t turn out like this, then they’ll just have to come get what I haven’t dispersed one bullet at a time.

They hear silence now, but it is not due to surrender. It is realization that they are our enemies for certain, and we are preparing for battle.

They won’t have to kill anyone. It will be really smooth and easy. First they’ll ban the manufacture and sale of all semis. Then they’ll ban the transport of they above. You can have then you just can’t move or sell them. The final straw will be a 10 year manditoty federal crime to be caught off your property with a semi.

A prudent owner of multiple firearms had better be planning and dispersing them until the initial forays are over.

What in the wide, wide world of sports makes you think that after the first few such raids, that firearm owners would cower and wait for the knock at the door?

You need to run some logistics numbers on that scenario. There aren't nearly enough enforcers to do what you think. Door to door to 100 million homes? It is to laugh.

Hell I don’t have any problems with felons having guns as long as they’ve served their time. Maybe we should stop releasing truly dangerous felons early.

The guy who killed the firemen on Christmas should have never see the outside of a prison after beating his own grandmother to death with a hammer.
