I just found out my daughter is peanut alergic, she is a 2/5 at just 15 months of age. Is there anything that a freeper can tell me about how bad this is? do chiledhood peanut allergies ever go away? how often? how ofter and how fast do they get worse?
More than 20% outgrow it:

Can I get a home school ping on this, its in no way related to homeschooling but is with a future home school kid..
No idea, but I wish you the best. One of my best friends is peanut-allergic and in her 40's. It just requires being very careful!
Have you consulted a pediatric allergist? If not,a visit to one might be of benefit.Given that you're in Minnesota, one affiliated with Mayo Medical School is likely to be up on the latest research on this subject.

We have used his methods in our office and have brought kids and adults back from all kinds of food allergies to live a 'normal' life.
Very low class to bring this onto a thread where Im asking for help with my baby daughter....
pathetic..
And he hadn't had any reaction since his asthma had been cured. So she took him to the allergy doctor, and told him about the homeopathic asthma cure and asked him to test her son again to see if he still had his peanut allergy. The doctor didn't want to because it's soooo dangerous, but he did it very slightly over the whole day. At the end it was straight peanuts and NOTHING...NO ALLERGY!!
Does your child have asthma?
That was disgusting. You ARE motley.
Indeed I am.
Absolutely. I wish I could provide information to you, but I know nothing about peanut allergies. Maybe someone else on the list does...
Can anyone help this father with advice?
That link is dead, sorry...UK Doctors Probe Lotion Link to Nut AllergiesScientists from St. Mary's Hospital in London and Bristol University in southwest England have discovered that one in 100 children have a peanut allergy, many more than previously thought. Nine out of 10 youngsters with the ailment have also suffered from eczema, a condition which makes skin dry and blistered.

Prayer heavenward...for your new research on peanut allergies, wisdom, discernment, tender healing for your daughter. <>
Sounds like you will be wise--especially in the short term--to be
EXTREMELY CAREFUL AND ABSOLUTELY INSURE THAT ALL HER INTAKE IS TOTALLY SCREENED VERY RELIABLY.
I'm sure others with more experience hereon will give you great advice. And, the net's a great resource otherwise, too.
Excellent suggestion.
Their website might even have a doc on it.
Honestly, homeschooling may be your best way to go.
My younger daughter does not have a peanut allergy but whenever she got sick, she also got a Urinary Tract Infection. We found this out when her sister was in Kindergarten. School is a bag of germs. The older one was out of K with strep, Norwalk virus, pink eye and every cold that swam around that room. She was out 37 days! This with the teacher having the kids wipe the room down with Clorox wipes every day and Purell available!
Everytime the older one got sick, the three year old would too. She began to have "burny tinkles". It was horrible watching your three year old sitting on the Potty crying, trying to urinate.
Through testing, we found that she has a tipped kidney. They wanted to put her on a prophilactic antibiotic until she grew out of it. The kids I knew that were on this, had a problem when an illness popped up. Their bodies were immune to the antibiotic and different ones needed to be tried. I didn't want to do this. The other option was surgery. NO way!
Through different circumstances, we started homeschooling the older one. We stopped being sick and her little immune system had time to build up. We haven't had another UTI.
It was always amazing to me that an entire school would be put on a nut alert and the parents trusted that every other family would stick to it. Sorry, I'm just not that trusting. That parent of the child with the nut alergy is counting on every parent and every child will remember something that is just not on the front of his/her priority list. They were trusting that no eight year old will pack their own lunch and forget the rules. Eight year olds can be pretty flighty and parents have to give them responsibily at some time or another. The child with the peanut allergy could be in a life threatening situation for an innocent mistake.
My little one was in Daisy GS. The leader had such an allergy and told us at the beginning. About half way through the year, the kids were doing bird feeders with suet and rolled in birdseed. I didn't have any birdseed so I sent in, guess what? Trail mix. With nuts and dried cranberries. The birds in my neighborhood love this. The leader was very nice, but did ask if I wanted to do her in!
See how easily mistakes are made?
