is the moon full or something? Dude... you admitted to liking Jackson Brown. You sure there isn't some Rupert Holmes or Randy Newman in there too?

I love Bret Michaels! I love that he’s had a lot of success in recent years, too! His reality show has twice been freaking hilarious!

Too bad Kate prefers to seduce women...she plays for the other team.
Great voice though.
Grace Slick also had that type of voice...not the same as Benatar, but her voice was also captivating. Although she’s thought of as a 60s artist, she did have hits in the 80s with Starship, so I think she can be counted in this discussion.
Her hair was relatively normal though.

ARE WE NOT MEN!
WE ARE DEVO!
Mark Mothersbaugh is featured in a kids show these days called Hey Gabba Gabba. It's everything you'd expect a Devo-related kids show would be. Brilliant, quirky and oh so family friendly!
:-D

Truthfully, though, a lot of glam rock bands had a lot of songs and videos on MTV that were never Top 40 hits...
Dokken’s “In My Dreams” - great song, but only reached #79 on the pop charts, for example.

I can admit that a lot of genres of music are interesting and are filled with talented artists, even if I personally don’t care for them.
Yanni, for example. Never got into his music, but I cannot deny his skill or talent.

Personally, at least back in the 80’s I had a full head of hair to mess up. LOL.

BTW, your "Get out of here with that kind of rage against the machine kind of talk, hippy" comment killed me. :-P

In that shot of Pat Benatar, she looks like Toni Basil.
(Is no one watching the CMA, I mean AMC, I mean ACM awards tonight? there’s no thread. I gotta dish on Reba McEntire making a complete fool of herself somewhere.)
