You’ve already been given several suggestions. Ping Jim or John to share your ideas. There already is a n00b welcome wagon. Instead of coming in with mouth and posts blazing, you could have asked for some help. Somebody would have pinged the welcome wagon, who would have been able to point you in the right direction. Instead you only alienate those who might otherwise listen to you.

you think we are being abusive to this guy? a noob is one thing. it’s something else entirely when a noob says, HEY, we need to do XYZ and LMNOP right away if we want to be a force on the net to be reckoned with. a month after sign up. when he has no clue what FR is, has been and has accomplished since it’s inception. that makes freepers tetchy.

Seriously, duuuude, I think you have grossly overestimated our interest in this subject.
I'm not exactly interested in electing any more liberals who believe in socialized medicine with taxpayer-funded abortions, gun control and man-made global warming.
And it really extremely bad form to be only recently arrived and to start making suggestions about how the site can be improved. Really bad form.
