Dog breath ping.
By nature of the way they hunt, cats are stealthier and take care of eliminating their odors through grooming and burying their waste.
If blindfolded with earmuffs on I could smell my dogs enter the room (even when they’re relatively clean/freshly showered.) No way I could smell the cat.
So this makes sense with that.
Funny. As a kid we always had dogs, no allergy issues to them at all.
If I even saw a cat while waiting for the bus to go to school, or God forbid, touch one, instant redeye, clogged nasal passages and the need for a bottle of SineAid.
"he he he, a few well placed numbers can throw any study askew...he he he"
That’s ‘cause cats will smother you straight away.
/just kidding— I have one myself. Though, come to think of it, she does tend do move closer to my face as the night wears on...
Clearly a study by cat worshippers.
Cats provoke allergies in me like no other animal. And unfortunately few have any desirable redeeming qualities.
I think the cat spittle from “washing themselves” is a part of the problem. That tongue’s been LOTS of other places.

I have had quite serious allergies all my life until I began applying his teachings. PRAISE GOD FOR HIS SOLUTIONS.
Yes, that’s an allergic reaction, not asthma.
Nothing to do with you, but one time we had a party for our coworkers, and one of the spouses was sitting comfortably in our living room and enjoying herself. About an hour into the conversation, the subject of pets came up, and Hubby mentioned that our cats were upstairs in a bedroom to keep them from getting excited or getting outside. The woman instantly started choking, and she gasped, “You have CATS???” as her eyes watered and turned red. She and her husband beat a path to the door and left the party.
That was psychosomatic if I ever saw it. No one said anything.
