Don't know if any one else heard Bit Hume say this as FOX cut away for a commercial a few minutes ago....if couse my ears are geeting old, tho.....
I heard it, too.
My typing skills are also going down hill.....
So what’s the deal with the retro headsets? Is somebody screwing with their radio feed and forcing them to communicate by wire?

I wondered the same thing when I first saw them on night 2 of the RNC. If you saw night 1 (pre-headsets), they were having difficulty with the noise/music coming from downstairs. The headsets help with that, I believe.

Lol, indeed. This thing is a dog. I usually tune into a decent chunk of the DNC convention every time, no matter how painful. This one is second rate. This party has sunk to a pathetic level. Nothing of substance to be found. No discussion of how to tackle the top issues.
That is because they promised God and delivered Obama.
I don’t think any candidate has gotten a negative bounce from a convention. There is a very good chance this will be the 1st.

Thought it was my imagination . . . but I do agree with him.
Their set oversees the convention hall. Tuesday night when we watched, they did not wear the headsets. The sound/noise/cheering from the convention hall below/behind them was so loud that we couldn't hear them and turned off the TV. They were screaming at each other, presumably, because they couldn't hear each other either.
Wednesday they wore the headsets. I'm sure they hear each other through the headsets, and it blocks out the noise below.
i did! I hope Rush and the rest play it back on air to their 50 million listeners!
....Just media telling us how wonderful everything about it is.
