It's odd that I can't find a setting for this under my account. I've searched forums for how to do this but I get nothing. Again; odd. I can't be the only one who has wondered how to do this...

Type something in the Tagline Box when replying to someone.
It will stay there until you change it.

You do not have access to your tag line unless you are responding to a post.
To: GOP_Party_Animal
We have to vote on it.
For you we have selected “Didn’t read all the boxes on the posting page.”

Underneath “Your Reply” is a field titled “Tagline.”

If you aren’t expected to read the article before responding, why should you bother reading the posting page?

Your tagline name is... Flounder.
To: GOP_Party_Animal
Hey it’s Sunday morning and never too early to get your chops busted.
I do like your new tag line. It helps me dispell that old kind grandfatherly image of mine. For the last days prior to the election I am going to try to obtain “smartass” status and revert only when the transition team is picked.
I hope your Sunday is great.

It seems impossible if you don’t know how to do it. It is accomplished in a really odd way. But once you know how, it’s absurdly easy, as many have pointed out here. Sadly, it is also absurdly easy to accidentally obliterate if you fat finger the tab key as I’ve done a couple of times.
