A Louisiana Burger King reportedly refused to serve two uniformed officers who tried to order food through the drive-thru last month.
According to the Bayou Journal, the Assumption Parish sheriff’s deputies had just finished SWAT training and went to a Burger King in St. Francisville to get some food.
When the police officers tried to order through the drive-thru speaker at the fast food chain, employees allegedly denied their request.
The police department’s public information officer Lonny Cavalier said the deputies tried to order chicken and were told the restaurant was out. They then tried to order Whoppers, to which an employee said they were out of hamburgers.
The uniformed officers asked if the establishment was actually out of the items or if they just did not serve law enforcement, but only received laughter in response, Cavalier wrote in a Letter to the Editor.
“The only response was laughter,” he said, WBRZ reported.

Yea they arent very bright in my area either why i generally go to SONIC if i want a burger and they roller skate it right to your door lol

The Manager said lots of people didn’t get their order that day. Oh really? Any particular reason? It was strange that he never said why?
Even if there was an equipment failure, which does sometimes happen, it’s very easy for an employee to inform the customer of what’s going on in a polite and professional manner. If you don’t have one entre’, then what DO you have right now? Put a sign up at the door and the drive-thru.
On the bright side, at least they didnt spit in , poop in or poison their crappy burgers
After the last two “Booger Kings” I went to in Louisiana, those cops should be thankful they were NOT served. Talk about nasty azz food. Not fit for human consumption....never again. Most of those joints should be shut down by the appropriate health depts.
Booger King HQ ought to be ashamed for what their franchises are turning out to the public. Just plain nasty.

Any service industry company today is both alienating their customers with idiotic leftwing drivel policies, then running shop at about 50% of their own standards. The entire food and beverage service sector is about to go bankrupt.
Don’t think that this is the policy of Burger King but the actions of the mutts who work there. I suspect if you harass the police that they will harass back. They won’t be working for BK much longer.
I accept the manager's explanation. There are bad apples in any organization. To blame it on BK corporation is rushing to judgement.

OMFG, automation cannot come soon enough for this whole fast food industry. McDonald’s had it right with the Speedee system. Now we just need automatons to fill those roles and not these over-entitled losers demanding $15 an hour for flipping a burger (when they want to, that is).
