A Louisiana Burger King reportedly refused to serve two uniformed officers who tried to order food through the drive-thru last month.
According to the Bayou Journal, the Assumption Parish sheriffs deputies had just finished SWAT training and went to a Burger King in St. Francisville to get some food.
When the police officers tried to order through the drive-thru speaker at the fast food chain, employees allegedly denied their request.
The police departments public information officer Lonny Cavalier said the deputies tried to order chicken and were told the restaurant was out. They then tried to order Whoppers, to which an employee said they were out of hamburgers.
The uniformed officers asked if the establishment was actually out of the items or if they just did not serve law enforcement, but only received laughter in response, Cavalier wrote in a Letter to the Editor.
The only response was laughter, he said, WBRZ reported.

Their uniforms gave them away.
I've never been at a drive thru where the order takers could see you when ordering.
Yeah, ok. Maybe there was a camera.
Using anal sex to market your Whopper is not a winning marketing strategy.
Oh...and that king is downright creepy.
If you bought gas, groceries, or hit a drive thru today your face in on about 20 or more video cameras. You just need to assume your on camera everywhere.
Some of these places really have been scraping the bottom of the barrel with the people they hire. No customer skills and, from what I can tell, no real training. I guess I should be glad they are working instead of spending their time in less-wholesome pursuits. I guess I am not surprised that some of them think it is okay to mess with paying customers, even cops.
Found the cup to have a hole in the bottom. I took it to the counter. The response from the girl at the counter was to set that cup inside another cup, and she handed it back to me.
“...why i generally go to SONIC “

I live near Atlanta, and we have two Sonic locations here...but I think Sonic food is awful. Even their hotdogs are bad. Greasy burgers with saturated, fall-apart buns...messy as hell to eat, especially in the car.
There’s one about two miles from where I live, pass it everyday, I’ve stopped there once since they built it two years ago, and that was for just a Coke.
Mine too. And always gets a 100 on the clean score
Police Officers and all their family and friends should avoid this place like the Plague
BK has been off the list for some time now.
I just watched "The Founder" on Netflix and the way the McDonald brothers set up that system was captivating, sketching the system out on a tennis court.
Pure hard work and capitalism at its finest. Of course, they got screwed by Ray Kroc.
Wish there was a Chick-fil-A franchise in my area. Be great for an n occasional treat.
External cameras. Wonderful technology. You ought to see how they work.
When it came to a hiring decision, the local BK chose... poorly.
Yeah, we don't have any of them here either. Chain restaurants here: McDonald's, Burger King, Arby's, Denny's, Applebee's, Moe's, Pizza Hut, Dominoes, KFC, Subway, Taco Bell.
I support privately owned establishments that wish to refuse service for any reason.
That is called supporting individual liberty.
Burger King liberals will poison your food.
Watch out!!
America’s fast food joints are desperate to hire any humans with a pulse, and as such, they are accepting lower and lower characters. Their food just gets worse and worse as well.
Burger King as a corporation are good guys. I assure you those idiots that did this will be fired.
The cops should be awarded free hamburgers for life charged against the franchise that did this.
