Burger King refuses to serve uniformed officers, Louisiana police department claims

A Louisiana Burger King reportedly refused to serve two uniformed officers who tried to order food through the drive-thru last month.

According to the Bayou Journal, the Assumption Parish sheriff’s deputies had just finished SWAT training and went to a Burger King in St. Francisville to get some food.

When the police officers tried to order through the drive-thru speaker at the fast food chain, employees allegedly denied their request.

The police department’s public information officer Lonny Cavalier said the deputies tried to order chicken and were told the restaurant was out. They then tried to order Whoppers, to which an employee said they were out of hamburgers.

The uniformed officers asked if the establishment was actually out of the items or if they just did not serve law enforcement, but only received laughter in response, Cavalier wrote in a Letter to the Editor.

“The only response was laughter,” he said, WBRZ reported.

Probably didn't want the officers to find out about their meth operation.

https://firstwefeast.com/eat/2015/04/meth-bust-burger-king

East Ellijay, Georgia, a small town that’s situated at the foot of the Chattahootchee National Forest, has a Burger King that we’re assuming is no different than any other American Burger King…With the exception that its customers could buy meth with any of their orders up until a month ago.

According to 13 WMAZ, police arrested 20-year-old Courtney Suzanne Morgalo for selling the drug from both her car and the restaurant, while also being accused of using during her shift.

Creepy cranker king.

The McDonald brothers did not get screwed by Ray Kroc.

They were arrogant to customers.
They wanted to remain local.

The many customers benefitted by Ray Kroc’s vision.
The brothers got paid for their incompetence.

Question all Hollywood movies for Communist bent.

Same with me and Chick-Fil-A. Even longer when the traffic is bad (traffic is almost always bad!)...

I went to a BK drive thru last year and the young girl working was drunk off her butt. I have had less than stellar service at other times, too. BK is not quality.

Already happening in California and elsewhere. You’ll tell your grandkids “In my day, actual people worked in the kitchen.”

Using anal sex to market your Whopper is not a winning marketing strategy.

Burger King has different owners (franchisees) in each area. One restaurant or several restaurants in an area will be different from others. Some franchisees are competent managers, and others are not.

Most students in public schools now lack good education in hygiene. Food poisoning case are through the roof, with so-called “stomach flu” (vomiting and diarrhea from dirty or rotten food extremely common). There was a flood of Malthusian propaganda a few years back. [Remember those posts and chain mails claiming that mommy let the kids eat raw hamburger and raw cookie dough in the good ‘ol days? Yeah, maybe in dirty, foreign neighborhoods in cities of our northeast.]

Management is obviously declining in most areas. Restaurants in many areas lack timely, needed supplies, lack proper training for proper cleaning, proper maintenance, etc. With drugs legalized and police afraid to try to arrest anyone for drug offenses (lack of useful laws, local, money-fronting business owners, etc.), many owners or franchisees of many businesses are no doubt drug addicts today.

A friend who does maintenance contracts recently told me about a franchisee who intentionally hired general managers with special education backgrounds. I met one of the store managers while having coffee with the maintenance tech. She seemed nice enough, but sure enough, she was slow (childlike, apathy, lower level of comprehension).

The mentally challenged restaurant managers do the hiring for each store (mostly scary employees with criminal histories, on drugs, etc.), ordering of supplies and all. The owner of those few restaurants feels that she’s doing a great charitable deed.

I would have sat at the drive thru all afternoon while traffic backed up. I would tell people who asked, that the staff was working on the microphone. And waited. I would.

I very seldom eat in any kinds of restaurants. There have been too many scandals involving every restaurant that I’ve known of—problems involving the majority of employees obviously on drugs, hepatitis A outbreaks (drugs), obvious health problems (wide as they are tall) and much more. Too many of the managers are terrified of random drug tests and tend to want to keep company with their own kind (marijuana religion, skins looking like funny papers, sexually confused, pit bull religion, etc.).

Most Burger Kings look like 3rd world sh$^holes. The owners have got all this money invested in restaurants but they won’t even clean the dumps.

My last visit to a Burger King was for breakfast a few months ago. There were two cars in front of me in the drive thru and it took 17 minutes. I was irate. I would have pulled off but there were barriers that kept me from doing so. I will not be back.

I’ve tried to avoid BK but I was in a hurry that morning and all the other good fast food restaurants had crowds. I have been to this BK over the years and it is gross. The owner of this location needs to have their franchise pulled.

Ah...something else I’ve been hearing about from some of the cleaner young folks who’ve recently worked in those places and moved to jobs that insulate them more from problems with other people.

Very often, crazy older people (age 30-ish and up) have been screaming at fast food workers, calling them b****es, threatening them and the like. That doesn’t surprise me at all, because I know my boomer generation well enough (many of my peers being rude, narcissistic, criminal-minded trash). There aren’t enough prisons to hold them.

It has come to our attention that police are not welcome at this Burger King. We will respect their wishes and not go there for ANY reason.

I'm surprised myself. St. Francisville is a pretty nice, conservative well off area. Definitely not ghetto.

My daughter was there visiting her fiance while he was working at a nearby power plant for a retrofit. She was pregnant and she could not get a room because she was neither married nor was she 21. Finally some rustic sports lodge took her in as it was the off season and they sympathized with her.

The prevailing attitude was move on.

"How did they know it was police officers ordering? Sounds fishy to me."

Beside the two-way ordering box, they have a camera. Look in the window and you can see the little monitor.

Here's Karma for those who won't serve men/women in any uniform. Place an order big enough for a small softball team. When you get to the window and they ask for your payment, putz around like you're looking for your wallet. "I'm so sorry, I must have left my wallet at home. Please keep my order hot and I'll be right back." Drive off and laugh.

EVERY single time I’ve ordered a
Sonic burger, they couldn’t follow
simple requests. And I’m not
exaggerating. No mustard, no pickles,
with mayo only. I get s burger with
mustard and pickles and no mayo.
Lately, i’ve refused to pay and left
them, holding the bag.

You've significantly exceeded your life expectancy.

Not really; I'm 77. And, I didn't eat at BK very often, plus the burgers there are less dangerous than fried ground beef from other places.
