SACRAMENTO, CA—The California Department of Education has rejected 100% of biology textbooks from the state's public school curriculum because they perpetuate outdated backward ideas that there are only two genders, said Governor Gavin Newsom on Monday.
"Children are the future," said Gov Newsom in a statement to the press. "It is inappropriate that we share these stone-age scientific ideas from radicalized scientists. Everyone knows there are an infinite number of genders. The science is settled."
Orders of biology textbooks for grades 7-12 have been canceled. Joining them is a ban on all textbooks for grades 1-6. These books feature numerous subjects ranging from social studies to Math but they also have bigoted mentions of male and female genders which education officials have been allegedly traumatized by.
"In the next school year, our grade-schoolers will move away from conventional textbooks in favor of printouts of legislature-approved Twitter threads. It'll save us a lot of money in the long run."
Gov Newsom then came out as a dumpster bear in solidarity with non-normative trans persons of color.
"I am one of you," he said while putting on a greasy bear head.

Yeah, I don’t flag the headline, but I try to make it obvious that it’s satire in the headers and initial comment. But some folks get caught anyway, LOL.

These kind of articles play off of peoples misunderstanding of gender versus sex. Sex is what kind of junk you have. Gender is what kind of objects you like to jam into holes.

Actually, that's sexual preference, not gender. A working definition of "gender", as the left uses that term, is "the characteristics of women, men, girls and boys that are socially constructed. This includes norms, behaviours and roles associated with being a woman, man, girl or boy."
In short, sexual stereotypes. And that's exactly why the team trannies and the "TERFs" (trans-exclusionary radical feminists) are at war.
A core part of early feminism was destroying sexual stereotypes in terms of behavior, dress, interests, etc.. So to one of those feminists, you can still be a woman and dress, act, etc., however you wish. Including in ways that were traditionally considered "masculine.". All those butch lesbians, for example.
The trannies want to stand all that on its head, and basically say that the socially-created stereotypes themselves define whether you are a man or woman. So, those two groups really don't get along. And in this particular instance, I think the radical feminists have it right, and the trannies are wrong.
Gender is a grammatical category. It governs the use of nouns and pronouns in language. There are three genders, at least in English. Why is this so hard for people to understand?
Who pioneered the idea that the California Dept. of Education is so named?
