Bud Light Plans to 'Spend Heavily' on Re-vamped Marketing Campaign After Dylan Mulvaney Controversy

Bud Light is expected to "spend heavily" on marketing in the wake of backlash from its brief partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The popular beer company was heavily ridiculed by conservatives after Mulvaney, 26, a TikTok creator and transgender woman, posted an Instagram with the adult beverage in a sponsored post.

After celebs like Kid Rock and Travis Tritt rallied fans on social media to boycott Bud Light over the partnership, the beer's parent company, Anheuser-Busch, has prepared to dramatically increase its marketing budget to recoup losses.

After beer sales plummeted, Anheuser-Busch distributors feared for their livelihoods and job security.

According to Benj Steinman, editor of Beer Marketer's Insights, Bud Light's parent company vowed to make up for economic losses.

In a closed-door meeting on Monday, Anheuser-Busch executives told distributors from across the country that they planned to "spend heavily on the brand after spending fell off a cliff last year," Steinman told the Post.

Steinman stated that the new marketing efforts would be rolled out as early as this week.

In a report to clients in regard to the meeting, Steinman said that Anheuser-Busch "did promise to spend lotsa dough on Bud Light [marketing] this spring and summer, starting with big push this week for the NFL draft."

As Bud Light's parent company worked overtime to repair its public image - and relationship with partners impacted by drop in sales - Anheuser-Busch also hosted private Zoom meetings with distributors nationwide.

Ticked-off consumers, losing revenue, spending heavily. Great business model.

A swill in drag is still a swill. Good luck selling the product.

Without an obsequious apology and complete disavowel of any support for normalization drag queens, NO SALE.

Yep.

And how are they going to revamp? By celebrating the hardworking men who have spent billions on their crappy product????

You can’t spit in someone’s face and expect for anyone to forget about it.

Screw them and their crap product.

A good start would be a Clydesdale drop kickin’ Mulvaney’s ass back “across the pond”. We’ve already got all the trannies we can handle.

It is if they did this to get Deep State to agree to a merger.

Bud lite customers are happy to have an anonymous target for their ‘here’s my pronouns’ pitch.

It won’t ever end.

I wouldn’t care...one way or another, but I think those who departed...had a chance to try other low-cal beers, and found better tasting beer options.

It’s not like it was 25 years ago, with just a handful of options...there’s probably thirty different low-cal beers out there.

And even then, you would doubt their sincerity at this point.

What they need to do is pull it off the market, sell it under another label, bring back the Clydesdales and maybe bring it back in a couple of years IF polling shows that their customer base accepts their apology as sincere rather than sanctimonious.

They still can't face the fact that need to completely renounce the tranny and all that campaign stood for and publicly fire the ad execs who approved that direction.

And invest their money on improving that swill so it's more palatable.

"Okay, (pitching the concept)... We change the name to 'Stud Light'. In the commercial, we get this Rambo looking guy with a bandana headband and two belts of ammo crossed over his bare chest. He bursts into a gay bar, shoots up the place.. He saddles over to the bar and orders..Stud Light....

Over the soundtrack, the bar has switched to country music.

And just out of curiosity, how much beer do local, state, and the federal governments buy with taxpayer money...?

Wanna bet which company’s they’ll be using our tax money money to buy in the future.

AB InBev might be laughing all the way to the bank...

Anheuser-Busch "did promise to spend lotsa dough on Bud Light [marketing]

So they are recruiting more trans people to sell their trans beer to trans? That's smart, focus on .02% of the population.

I don't see how anything short of a complete disavowal and refutation is going to get their market share back to anything like it was. Even that may not be enough.

If they produced a video of Spuds McKenzie working on a Dylan Mulvaney chew toy with a voice-over from the CEO saying, "We made a mistake, and we apologize. We catered to a movement that is ultimately destructive to the fabric of traditional American culture, and our customers spoke out. Traditional values made America a great country, and traditional America made AB a once great company. AB rejects our former efforts to support and endorse the LGBTQ lifestyle and have severed all ties with Dylan Mulvaney. AB will immediately cease any donations we have previously made to groups supporting deviant lifestyles." (Video then switches to a Clydesdale stomping a rainbow flag in the dirt) and then fade out...

...It might be a start, but it'll never happen.

As Bud Light's parent company worked overtime to repair its public image...

But does not publicly disassociate with the queer tranny.

They will just spend more $$ to try and get customers back.

And for those who switch back - what does that say about them?
