Good afternoon everyone. I hope everyone is gearing up for the Thanksgiving holiday and ready to have a great time.
I wanted to keep this post short but I wanted to seek your opinions about supplements for treating Long Covid. As many of you know I contracted Covid and pneumonia early last year, and developed Long Covid late last year which resulted in me having to retire this past spring.
I have purchased several supplements over the past two years that I/we were told could possibly help treat the symptoms of Covid-19 & Long Covid, but which never really helped. Quercetin, Zinc, Vit C & D, Nattokinaise, Bromelain, and a few others.
Lately I have seen many advertisements for The Wellness Company, and one of their products is the Signature Series Spike Support Formula. It has the following ingredients: Nattokinase, Dandelion, Selenium, Black sativa, Green tea and Irish sea moss.
I emailed them and questioned them and this is the response I got, "Thank you for reaching out to TWC Customer Support. We have heard of people having great experiences with both Spike Support and Restful Sleep Supplements. Please remember these are supplements and to guaranteed to any possible conditions you may be experiencing. That last statement looks a bit weird and I'm wondering it there are a couple of typos there.
I'm seeking opinions on whether this stuff can really make a difference, or if they are just another money grabbing scheme. I know this no magic drug out there to treat Long Covid, but some days are difficult to endure and if I could find something that might actually help I'd be willing to give it a try.
I'm hoping there are doctors on these boards that would be willing to advise me. If you want to Freepmail me, please feel free to do so.
Thank you all for your help, and have a great Thanksgiving!
Curious as to your symptoms.
NAC
Did you take covid vax?
look up vagus nerve and long haul covid
try stimulating it with humming, singing, and massagers on neck and chest and see if it makes any differece
some people are using low dose naltrexone. hard to get...ask for it for weight loss or if you have an addiction.
Insomnia, dizziness/lightheaded, fatigue (bordering on chronic), nausea
No, absolutely not
NAC is amazing. My wife and I have been taking it for some time now. Great liver detox after drinking too.
I tried contacting the clinic he works for. I never received a reply back.
I have tried NAC, but it doesn’t agree with me. Actually made things worse.
Sorry to hear. Magnesium L-theanate may help with the insomnia.
There aren't any qualified physicians here, so you are better off consulting with your own family physician.......
If you're relying on internet opinions, then you're better off consulting with your own service station mechanic. You'll at least get an oil change out of it......
Yeah, those family physicians really covered themselves with glory over the past four years...
Contact these doctors with the FLCCC.
There is a dropdown menu for doctors who treat this problem.
Did you try Ivermectin?
While I don't support the Vax anymore, I had mine as did all my family members and we are all still alive.
Maybe you should consult with your local service station the next time you are ill since you don't trust physicians.
Chances are tho, he will convince you need a complete engine overhaul when all you needed was an oil change. And you'll likely pay it......
I have heard some people swear by apple cider vinegar fasts.
Millions and millions have been killed by the jabs worldwide.
Whatever happened to the Hippocratic oath?
Oh, yeah—big ol’ cash incentives for physicians and their employers.
Along with this, I would add good, systemic stretching of all major muscle groups and listening to cat purring, even if only via YouTube.
